“I've been here several times as a guest and always enjoyed it and loved all the tradition this organization has. Everyone is friendly and the entertainment is always top notch. I love the beautiful waterfront view here at the point where the Detroit River opens into Lake Erie. This club is connected to an island that is connected to an island that is connected to an island. Go figure!“

“The bartender Andria was amazing, she made you feel comfortable, relaxed and at home as soon as you walk in the door. It was my first time being there, and I have to say it definitely will not be my last. I had the taco special, which I will definitely go back for. And even the other patrons that you can tell frequent the bar or fun and hilarious to talk to while eating lunch, everyone from the bartender to the people in the kitchen we’re all incredibly friendly and welcoming. “Found this place on my way home from getting desserts across the street. The family and I stopped in and found the brick oven pizza to be amazing and the spinach artichoke dip is the best I've ever had. Shout out to the the pizza artist whom you can see cooking your pizza up fresh out the brick oven. Haley the server was nice also. Clean and comfortable establishment with outdoor seating as well. Only one thing I would change is the fact I noticed my drink was watered down. Still give 5 stars though because they definitely got the pizza and environment down to a T.“

I would recommend seeing Morgan anytime at Dotte pub! Morgan is so amazing she pulled a charger out as my phone was dying so I can charge it back up! I will come back to see Morgan again just for her exceptional customer service.“

“Before we moved away in 1972 (when I was 10) This was my father's bar.... Where everybody KNEW HIS NAME.... and I often was with him and everybody knew MY NAME, and bought me Shirley Temples.... I played in the empty stage area on the other side of the bar area.... Has it changed in 60 years? “Anybody reading this, my mamaw was the barmaid there beginning in the 60s. Annie Ruth Ladd. They also lived above the bar for some time. My mother told me that she vividly remembers looking out the window and seeing the National guard going down Jefferson into Detroit. At that time, she was 9 years old. My mother grew up to work in the bar. Her name is Roseann or Rosie. I spent lots of my youth there, playing quarter machines. Rosie Also worked Square Deal. Y'all probably knew my papaw too his name was Jim Ray Boatwright and he was known in River Rouge as being one of the Town drunks lol God rest his soulCan't wait to stop in and reminisce!Also, if anybody knew my family or can share stories, please let me know. “Been coming here since I was 21 with a 10yeqr gap in my mid 20’s to mid 30’s. Even when they’re packed we have good service. TV’s everywhere so every seat has a good view of whatever game is on. And they have touch tones so you control the music when there isn’t a game. Pleasant and attentive staff. Great beer selection and it’s always fresh. Just wish there were a few more healthy food selections. Even so everything is tasty. Chili is definitely some of the best restaurant chili available and in the fall they have rotating soups.“

“I Love this bar it is a great bar it just recently opened up again I'm excited for every weekend. Open mic on Fridays there's also stand-up comedy the bar is really coming together everybody should come down and have a great time with us. I consider myself as family with the bar because I live right next door and I'm there all the time and they're very kind and courteous to their customers.
