“Enthusiasms and labors of love do not always, alas, translate to success. Fortunately, in the case of Sameday, it does! There are no bad beers here. There aren't even any mediocre, fill-in-the-menu beers. I'm not a big lagers fan, but the Someday lagers are well worth the pint, as are the Czech style pilsner. And then there are the IPA's, which are fantastic; and the stouts, a pleasant oatmeal stout or a no holds barred Midnight. The meads are just as excellent. (Except for the Sunday Afternoon, which you don't want to try, because that will leave more for me. Seriously. Try the April First.) No food. No distractions. Just beer (and mead) done very excellently well.”

“It use to be be a favorite restaurant. After the renovations it has changed. I am stating from a top notch restaurant now everything has changed. Quality, wait staff, noise level. Everything was wrong when we went there. I know they have to factor cost and profit and this is what was best. Not for us, won’t be back”

“I was so pleased to find a local tea shop with a plethora of unique blends, but once I arrived at the store, I was truly charmed. Not only is there a vast selection of teas, sets, accessories and gifts, but the owner is so warm and welcoming. I came with an 8-year-old who talks, a LOT. She answered his numerous questions and encouraged him to explore different blends while also helping me find what I wanted, and the whole time she was graceful, accommodating, and genial. The tea is high quality, the blends are delicious, and I look forward to returning soon!”

“Recently got a carry out from the Clinton Township location I ordered a bowl. It was very salty which I can only attribute to the rice since it’s chicken based the rest was grilled pork and fresh vegetables. I gave up half way thru just couldn’t handle the salty taste. Maybe they should sample it before serving?”

“I've only bought the Italian sub but I noticed they make pizzas also while you wait. There's an array of salads plus frozen pizza you can pop in the oven. I've had a lot of subs but these are the very best. They make them while you wait.”

“First time to try Grosse Pointe Woods-CRISPELLI'S Pizza (and a salad) just a few days ago. EVERYTHING was superb! (love the 'peppadew' peppers!) Equally terrific was the 'Mediterranean' Salad with Very Tasty Lemon Oregano dressing! SO nice to find a 'different' dressing and this Lemon Oregano was TRULY special. Everyone on the phone was SO nice!. We will be BACK! THANKS!”

“Excellent pastries. The best cappuccino I ever had. Absolutely perfect. It's a small local place. Constantly busy even during the week. My son loved their roast beef sandwich and cheese Danish. He also had a cappuccino. We live an hour away but I'm hoping to make it more often. Their cakes are divine. Everyone who lives out here goes here and orders their cakes. I've never had anything average .Every item is above and beyond everywhere else. I first visited and ate here when they were in the Village of Grosse Pointe City. Still is the best.”

“Love this place! Close to home so we stop in pretty frequently to check out the latest flavors. The new remodel looks awesome and definitely brings out a castle vibe. There is now a space for people to have game nights and host events as well. Another great feature is the amount of vegan & gluten free options available. The owner is great and really brings the whole place together!”
