“Enthusiasms and labors of love do not always, alas, translate to success. Fortunately, in the case of Sameday, it does! There are no bad beers here. There aren't even any mediocre, fill-in-the-menu beers. I'm not a big lagers fan, but the Someday lagers are well worth the pint, as are the Czech style pilsner. And then there are the IPA's, which are fantastic; and the stouts, a pleasant oatmeal stout or a no holds barred Midnight. The meads are just as excellent. (Except for the Sunday Afternoon, which you don't want to try, because that will leave more for me. Seriously. Try the April First.) No food. No distractions. Just beer (and mead) done very excellently well.”

“It use to be be a favorite restaurant. After the renovations it has changed. I am stating from a top notch restaurant now everything has changed. Quality, wait staff, noise level. Everything was wrong when we went there. I know they have to factor cost and profit and this is what was best. Not for us, won’t be back”

“Recently got a carry out from the Clinton Township location I ordered a bowl. It was very salty which I can only attribute to the rice since it’s chicken based the rest was grilled pork and fresh vegetables. I gave up half way thru just couldn’t handle the salty taste. Maybe they should sample it before serving?”

“First time to try Grosse Pointe Woods-CRISPELLI'S Pizza (and a salad) just a few days ago. EVERYTHING was superb! (love the 'peppadew' peppers!) Equally terrific was the 'Mediterranean' Salad with Very Tasty Lemon Oregano dressing! SO nice to find a 'different' dressing and this Lemon Oregano was TRULY special. Everyone on the phone was SO nice!. We will be BACK! THANKS!”

“This place has pizza and sandwiches that are to die for! If you get lucky and they have lasagna in the cold case, get it! It's the best I've had! Oh yeah, the pizza and hoagies are fantastic as well. I think I've tried them all now. Worth the trip.”

“Was pleasantly surprised, as I had judged them by the reviews. But I really wanted Chinese food, so I got the Mongolian Beef combo for dinner. It was great. Tonight I had the General Tso’s Chicken combo dinner. Both entrees were done with “medium” spice, which is enough for me. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the fried outer breading shell was thin and not mushy. Fried rice is very tasty as well as the egg roll that came with the dinner combo. A great experience.”

“This review is way over due. What can i say but WOW!!! Lyla makes quality food! QUALITY! The Tabbouleh has a perfect flavor. I love lemon and the flavor is just right. And, Lyla and staff take the time to take off each parsley leaf off of the stem!!!!!! Who does that? I think of myself as a soup connoisseur of soup! Grew up in a Polish family with all kinds of homemade soup. Let me tell you that the chicken ginger soup made on Wednesday is over the top scrumptiously delicious. Really! The other soups too are very good but the chicken ginger soup is my favorite. The hummus is some of the best I’ve tasted as well as the garlic spread/dip WOWZA. If you like garlic this is for you and goes well alone on pita or grape leaves. Recently I got grilled eggplant topped with lamb. Yep, sure was yummy. “I stopped by and had a cappuccino and cheese Danish. They were so soo good - especially the Danish. They had a wide variety of items and everything there looked delicious. I will definitely be back to try more - I think the roast beef sandwich is calling me. The staff was friendly and helpful. Also, the atmosphere was very nice and they have seats outdoor, which is always great when the weather is nice.”

“Love this place! Close to home so we stop in pretty frequently to check out the latest flavors. The new remodel looks awesome and definitely brings out a castle vibe. There is now a space for people to have game nights and host events as well. Another great feature is the amount of vegan & gluten free options available. The owner is great and really brings the whole place together!”
