“Went down the day of the parade. Bus dropped us off close to the brewery so this was our first stop. It was so yummy this was also our last stop before getting back on bus! Even our friends who are not beer drinkers enjoyed them for sure. The Beach Bus is my favorite! Can't wait to go back“
“great beers, great staff, all in all a wonderful time!“
“Enthusiasms and labors of love do not always, alas, translate to success. Fortunately, in the case of Sameday, it does! There are no bad beers here. There aren't even any mediocre, fill-in-the-menu beers. I'm not a big lagers fan, but the Someday lagers are well worth the pint, as are the Czech style pilsner. And then there are the IPA's, which are fantastic; and the stouts, a pleasant oatmeal stout or a no holds barred Midnight. The meads are just as excellent. (Except for the Sunday Afternoon, which you don't want to try, because that will leave more for me. Seriously. Try the April First.) No food. No distractions. Just beer (and mead) done very excellently well.“
“Fantastic people and beer, great atmosphere. Go get you some!“
“Such a great vibe! We did a casual wedding welcome party here and can’t say enough good things about how wonderful this space is, how kind and accommodating the team was, and much everybody really enjoyed the beer (and wine)! This is a fantastic and classic Detroit spot and now one of our favorite breweries around!“
“Highly recommend the Dark Heathen Triple Bock . Very well made delicious beer.“
“Checked out Eastern Market Brewing Company tonight, and I get why people talk about this place. It’s right in the heart of Eastern Market and has a great lineup of beers — enough options for everyone, whether you’re into IPAs or just want something easy to drink .
I grabbed a flight so I could pretend I’m a beer expert. I’m not, but the dark beer was smoother than I expected and the lager was the kind of crisp you want after a long week. The space itself feels laid back — good seating, and you can still catch whatever game is on without feeling like you’re in a packed sports bar.
Service was friendly, crowd was chill, and it’s the kind of spot where you could make this your go-to without even trying. Detroit beer, no pressure, good energy.
I’ll definitely be back — and I’m officially adding breweries to the list of places I “review” now.“
“we have been stopping in for drinks for a while now before we go to concerts and the theater.. we love your bartender, we love our drinks and the pizza to boot! we love sitting at the back of the bar and sometimes on the couch playing a few games!“
“Ok, here's the deal.
I really want to give this place 5-stars. But I have to be honest, I just dont believe a 5-star place exists. 5 out of 5 is PERFECT.
Batch is about as close as youre gonna get...
As far as beer anyway.
I have to get in line or id write more .
Delicious. Enjoy“
“We hosted a 40th birthday party here a few weeks ago and could not have had a better experience! The staff were friendly and helpful. The drinks were wonderful and the room worked perfectly for our needs. I absolutely would use Urbanrest again as an event space! Thank you so much to the entire crew for making our party memorable.“
“We came to Detriot to see the NCAA D1 National wrestling tournament. We stopped in and had a great time. The beer, food, and environment were wonderful and we give them 5 stars. Look forward to coming back. Mechanicsburg PA folks“

“Great comradery, easy pace, post ride socializing at the brewery.“
“When I am at Sundried Tomato Bistro my choice of beer on tap is from Walkerville Brewery. As good as any craft beer I have ever tasted. #supportlocal ... Randy Russon, Hockey News Windsor.“
“One of the best breweries in Michigan. Excellent aromas, tastes and finishes.“
“The Coffee infused Porter, with beans from Campoñeros Coffee is great! Campoñeros just opened a coffee place in Amherstburg. It would be great to have one of their delicious empanadas AND a SBC Coffee Porter there. Maybe one day!“
“It is a very nice place to have a few beers and nice people 😉“
“Friendly service, great beer, good food. Love coming here for my local neighborhood brewery!“
“Good beer, good food truck! “Simply Spanish!”“

“Last night we had Charise as our server. She was the bomb!! Great personality, knowledgeable on food. beer & spirits. I ordered half an order of plain chicken wings! Holy cow they were a full wing and huge! They were awesome. They had a little dry rub on them. Sauce on the side. We were on the 2nd floor. Very quaint and had a pool table. I highly recommend this place. It was my 1st time there. I'll be going back!“
“Not only is the food great, but the service is amazing! Jess always goes above and beyond to make sure im always happy! I recommend the 1529 IPA as well! Happy hour is awesome!“
“Go for brunch, get a coffee, some food, relax, browse the internet, play board games, etc. Plenty of variety. A quirky , fun, experimental, artistic vibe atmosphere, unique for a Cafe/Brewery“
“Got a little concerned with the recent reviews, but happy to report that the kitchen overhaul mentioned has seemed to work as stopped in for lunch on a Sunday and had some really good bar food and good service. The only reason for not a full 5 stars was one of our hazy IPAs was a little flat on tap but still a recommendation for the area.“

“Sure I’m biased as a lifetime mug club member, but don’t sleep on Lily’s!!! From the always available standards to the seasonal releases, everything is always on point and to style. Favorites include the pils, dortmunder, California common and marzen. Happy hour is also great — I’m not a seafood person but have plenty of other great options. Prost! 🍻“

“The meads are a constantly rotating selection so if you see something you think you might like...get it! It may not be there next time. The service is excellent and the whole experience is very casual. Trivia Nights are great (and loud). There is often a food truck outside during events. This is important as the only food served to ends to be bags of gourmet pretzels.“

“My father and I went in today for the 5 year celebration and our server Tajma was amazing. She knew the beers like the back of her hand and we had a great conversation about local breweries and beers we are huge fans of! Keep up the great work. Also the wings were phenomenal honey sirracha delicious, and the platter had so much amazing stuff we had to take a lot home! We will be back.“
“Wow. They 100% turned this place around. The food was so so before, but thy recently hired a new kitchen manager and the chef is LEGIT.
The Pub Burger is hands down one of the best in GP.
If you had a less than stellar previous visit.. time to come back 💪🏻🤯“

“We made reservations for a Friday night for a group of 8. We are really glad we did that because the brewery was packed. I strongly encourage reserving for any group size on Fri/Sat.
Service was excellent- waitress was very patient with our table.
The food, beer, and mixed drinks were all good.
The bathrooms were clean, even on a busy night.
Overall, we enjoyed ourselves. My only gripe was that the speaker volume could have been a little bit lower. It was really hard to hear the person speaking across the table.“

“Awesome pizza and a good choice of craft beers. Lots of daily deals on. The lady behind the bar who was serving, bringing the food out and clearing the tables needs a pay rise, she didn't stop, her name was Lenice , will be back. Pork pie pizza was ace“

“The SE MI Brewery Discovery Tour's latest stop is right here in Hamster Track. No, Ham Truck. Hampertrick? Hammer Time? It's what? Really? You're sure?
Hamtramck!!! (My sarcasm streak is as wide as Lake Huron today).
I'm really learning to ❤️ Hamtramck. The food alone should bring you here regularly. And now there is a brewery, too. 🎉🎊🥳
First, ignore the apparent pay-to-park situation, it's just to confuse people. And on its way out. No cost, in other words.
The beers are sessionable. For those who aren't hopheads (or malt-minded) that means under 6% ABV. So you have several without being too concerned about having to get an Uber home. Just pace yourself like an adult and you should be fine. Assuming you know your limits.
Lower alcohol does not mean low flavor, though.
I came specifically for the Garnet lager, a hard-to-find Czech style. I was not disappointed. Tasty, refreshing, smooth & only 5.5%.
My second was another hard-to-find style from the Czech Republic 🇨🇿 (I know, they changed it to Czechia. Sounds like Chechnia & I'm not using it.), Midwest Leisure. 5.3%.
Followed it with a hand-pulled oyster stout called Pocket Full of Shells. No, it doesn't taste like pureed oysters (🤢). Only 5.3%, as well.
The staff were super friendly. The digs are open, inviting, with light colored wood, exposed brick and ductwork.
The Wolverines game was on when I visited (Go BLUE!) but the volume was off so as to not distract from conversations or the music. Watch it if you need to follow. (I recorded it).
After a few hours reading & conversing, I headed out, looking forward to the styles to come with the change of seasons.
Baltic Porter in January, anyone?“
