“Yo! Mootz is a really good spot for Detroit-style pizza! We walked by and saw a lot of smiling faces, so dropped in, and I’m glad we did! I had a slice of the buffalo chicken pizza, as well as a slice of cheese pizza. After the first bite, I quickly understood why there were so many smiling faces in there! What’s cool about this place is that they have a takeout side where you can walk up, get your pizza, and go hang out in one of the neatest alleys in Detroit!“

“Couple weeks ago was my first time eating there. Wow was it amazing. I was stuffing myself. It tasted so good.
Came back today pretty much got the same thing. Chicken parm both times.Today the chicken wasn’t right. The top half of the chicken breast was grizzly the bottom half wasn’t grizzly, but it was hard to cut.
Third time is the charm, we will see !!!“

“We had a rehearsal dinner for 40 people at Sheilds in Detroit and it was the best experience ever! The food was wonderful, the atmosphere was great and the staff were so awesome!!! When we got there everything was set up for us and they were very welcoming. The manager Jason was great, and had everything running smoothly. The wait staff…shout out to L & D we’re phenomenal! They were right there with refills, smiles, jokes and anything you needed. They made the experience so wonderful!!! I would recommend to anyone looking for a party venue, or just a dinner out to come eat here!! 5 stars!!!!!!“

I had people recommend them before but hadn't made it over there...but now I had to! The food...omg! Delicious. I dont even have words to describe the cinnamon bread. Perfection. The pizza was perfectly thin and crispy, and the shawarma was incredible. Just when we thought it couldn't get better, the chef sent over a free apple pie. Equally terrific was the 'Mediterranean' Salad with Very Tasty Lemon Oregano dressing! SO nice to find a 'different' dressing and this Lemon Oregano was TRULY special.
