“I stopped in for the first time to treat myself for my bday because one of my friends recommended this place. The owners were so nice, the store had a nice relaxing feeling and everything in the cases looked fresh, pretty & delicious. I bought a few things which included a lemon pound cake cookie and wow it has to be one of the best lemon cookies I’ve ever had! I’m glad I stopped in and recommend you stop in sometime too. I’ll definitely be back to try some more of their treats. Thank you for the great service and yummy sweets!“
“If you can dream it, Maxine has it! Her shop has anything and EVERYTHING you could possibly need to make cakes, cupcakes,. I wanted edible rocks for a cake, she had two different kinds. Palm trees? Two colors and two sizes! She has everything from Frozen to zoo animals. Her shop is like a time capsule of the past 50 years of cake decorating. If you are looking for nostalgia this is a great place to visit. She can even do edible images!“

Obviously with a gender reveal you don’t know when the results will be back, and they were extremely flexible! down to the communication, the cake, the atmosphere, the quickness, and the absolute delightful bakers, i cannot reccomend this place more!!!“

“I ordered a custom, 2-tier cake for my friend's birthday and it was amazing! They did a great job with the icing and the decoration, and it tasted so good! I especially like that the cake-to-frosting ratio was perfect. Will definitely order agian!“

“Dear Mitten Raised Bakery, Catering/Wedding - We worked with Katie to cater/deliver 160 cupcakes and a 8" cake for our wedding. We would 150% recommend Mitten Raised! Katie (owner) was amazing from the moment I inquired about her services (about 6 months prior) to when she delivered them with her team. We ended up getting strawberry shortcake and lemon drops in a cake cup, and shoreline and a marbled decorative cupcakes, They were all delicious and our guests are still raving about them. We also ordered a simple white cake for us to cut, and honestly it was one of my favorites - it was just the right amount of sweetness, flavor, and texture! Katie was also very responsive and sweet throughout multiple emails. I had to change the count and flavors multiple times, and she responded instantly and always in a friendly manner. We've also been into Mitten Raised for separate sweet-treat occasions, and it never disappoints! Please consider catering through Mitten Raised! We love their baked goods, professionality, and if we were to ever have a large event again - I would book them in a heartbeat.“

“We stopped into Breadsmith while visiting family from out of town. We grabbed some pastries and banana bread for our family. We had a wonderful experience talking with the owner. As we were leaving after checking out he grabbed one of his most popular bread loaves (Michigan Cherry Walnut) and gave to us so we could try it. It was so incredibly nice. Will definitely be back when we return to Michigan!“

“Wow I was just on this side of town and I asked Siri “coffee near me” she gave bigby and then this place. Let me tell you I don’t regret choosing here. Ambiance 10/10 calm relaxing chill. I’d come here to finish up work and have coffee any day. DONT GET ME STARTED ON THE ASIAGO BAGEL. Fun fact. One of the workers sisters I’m assuming she’s the owner said her sister learned baking in England and uses that for the IN HOUSE MADE PASTRIES AND BAGELS. When I say light and airy and absolute perfection. I will be back … it’s kind of far from me but I will come back for that bagel alone!!! But everything else is amazing as well. And they don’t skimp on the cream cheese!! Also super friendly staff! 10/10“

“Finally got a chance to go here after it's been open for a couple of wks. For 3 ppl I ordered 2 classic rolls, 1 center of the roll, an extra frosting cup, & redeemed the Aug Mystery offer on the app, which was to get a $1 Chillatta w/ bakery purchase. The food was heavenly as usual!! My only complaint is b/c of the small store space, there's no tables/chairs inside for ppl who want to sit & eat right away. There is a *tiny* counter along the back wall, but when I was there the line stretched back to that counter. So be prepared to grab your food & head to a spot where you can eat while it's still warm!“

“Panera food is all the same usually but I asked for extra say e on my sandwich and I didn't get that. The survive was slow bur they were busy so not bad and the business building atmosphere is a strange one to be sure it's very busy so I wouldn't recommend studying but at off times if perfect I especially like the chairs by the window
Vegetarian options: The tomato soup is very good. I also like the medatranian sandwich, and the grilled cheese is always very good. If they have 10 vegetable soup, 100% get it!!! It's one of the best things they've had on their menu.“

“Great assortment of both lunch and breakfast sandwiches, bakery items (donuts, bagels, croissants, TimBits (donut holes), etc). Fresh ingredients and easily customizable sandwiches. Everyone in my family prefers a different kind of bread for their sandwiches so we can make a sandwich work for everyone (one with a bagel, one on a croissant, etc).This is one of the few locations left in the area and it is a convenient place to stop. Right off the highway, attached to a gas station. Service was friendly.

“Mr. Leslie is as good at baking as he is gregarious and friendly. The cheesecakes are “text your friends with naughty words they’re so good” levels of delicious — in particular, the autumn double-crusted apple one is perfection on a plate.
