“Great music. Great vibes. Great menu. Great prices. Great staff. Owner introduced himself and made us feel very welcome. This was my partner's 1st time out since Covid started in Dec 2019 and our 1st time back here since the new owner took over. We were both happy and impressed with the changes. Losing the center and front booths really opened it up and makes it way less claustrophobic feeling. Music was good and people were coming in. The burger I ordered was perfectly burnt around the edges and juicy. The waffle fries are delicious. He got the haddock with okra. Flaky, flavorful and crunchy fried, 2 large pieces and the tartar sauce was creamy and good. Okra was fresh and tasty. Can't wait to return. Wish I'd caught the owner's name. He was very kind. The waitress was wonderful as well.“

“Sandy’s has been around a long time. Friends have been going there for years and we finally made it there ourselves. Great friendly service with traditional bar food. While we did not have coney dogs, heard from others that is what they are known for. We will be back to sit at the bar for drinks and a burger.“

“It may seem like a dive bar inside, but it's a clean one and everyone is having a great time. It's good for kids and adults alike, the beer list is great. And the food is always impressively good.Kid-friendliness: It is definitely a bar and grill and it looks like it's for adults, but they are very kid friendly and they have coloring sheets and crayons.Wheelchair accessibility: Good handicap parking and flat path to enter. Movable tables can accommodate wheelchairs, people with mobility issues or large people.“

“Easily one of the best places to eat in DTW. Burgers was great. Garlic Fries: awesome. Beer: cold. The staff, Melissa and Shannon, were very welcoming and fun to talk with. Both Melissa and Shannon were very knowledgeable about the menu and directed me to exactly what I needed. They also gave me some great recommendations for places to visit in Detroit! “Went in for lunchThere were 6 of us. We all had drinks and ate. The chicken wrap was delicious. Nice size sandwich. We ordered 2 hamburgers, which were also good size. We had the fried bologna sandwiches that were really good. The waitress was on the ball checking on us often. We will Definitely be going back.“

“On my way home from Detroit to Ann Arbor today I saw their sign that said “Best Burger Around””, so I decided to give them a try. They did not lie, the burger was flavor, juicy and quite large. Onion rings were meh. All in all, I left the place happy and, more importantly, full.“

“My Aunties and I visited Detroit recently and my cousin suggest we go to Black Rock Bar & Grill. We enjoyed the atmosphere and service. The food was awesome. I actually got to cook my steak on a 750 degree volcanic Rock from Australia. Hopefully they will come to Houston.“

Working late, we're always able to call Mary Anne who is always so caring about our order!The Michigan Salad is the best..chicken..cranberries, Blu Cheese..love it!I notice, though sometimes the blue Cheese cranberries and walnuts are scarce! Those are the best parts of the salad that blend the chicken and lettuce together..I like to see them and taste them in this wonderful salad!Nice American friendly bar in Dearborn!“

“We stopped in when they opened for the day on a Saturday. The owners were so pleasant and inviting. We were so early that the soup of the day wasn't ready yet. We were in town for a weekend event, the owner said come back that night and soup was on him. We had our bloody marys (which were very good) and our lunch.Came back later that night for dinner and to enjoy the live music. The place was very busy, but we managed to get our same seats at the bar even though our party had doubled in size. The owner saw us and within a few minutes the soup was in front of us, we didn't have to say a word.The staff was very attentive despite the enormous crowd. The food was awesome again both in taste and volume.Ashley was behind the bar and was the hardest working bartender I have ever see and the smile never left her face.Great experience all the way around!“

“Sit and be served! I ordered the medium rare Cajun burger, cooked to perfection. The French Onion Soup my partner ordered was so flavorful, I'm pretty sure I ate half of it. I've been searching for this perfectly crafted French Onion! Quiet Monday evening atmosphere, filled with regulars, good music, and a great staff. “My favorite local place. Food is great and they have awesome daily deals. The staff is friendly and it's always nice to see a team of people who genuinely enjoy running a restaurant together- they've got that at palmer. The daytime bartender Brent has a regular crowd for a reason, the service and conversation at Palmer is above and beyond any eatery nearby it. I've made a lot of friends here and its only been 6 months or so since we moved to Wayne. I try to only go once or twice a week because if I don't put limitations on myself I'll be there everyday!“

“The menu is so big!! Food very tasty, had homemade frys, so good! ? Ribs are meaty and fall off the bone, very good! My boyfriend had the walleye, super good! Best waitress, Judy H, this woman is super efficient, knowledgeable about the menu, very on top of picking up dirty plates, she was awesome!! “Banger! Sundays are standing room only. If you’re not there as soon as they open, you’re probably gonna have to stand or possibly not get in. This place was nice. Neighborhood vibe, safe, fun and super entertaining. The DJ was jammin all night long, watching folks ballroom and hustle was exciting watch. My car was safe with the parking attendants out front, and well lit. Check them out, you won’t regret it.“

“First time there and can't give a better review!! Great fun.. 10 stars.. Roger the owner was a great guy. Morgan,the bartender was great. Women's bathroom was just a treat. (Need hairspray it was there!) That's do to Kimmy's touch, Roger's fiance. Food was excellent.... DEFINITELY be back!!“

“Great Irish pub style bar tucked off a busy road. Great service drinks and tasty bar food. Recommend the Ramona which is a nice twist on the Reuben switching sweet coleslaw instead of sauerkraut. Friendly staff and love the design and Irish atmosphere! Highly “

“Over 25 crowd (most patrons were 40s +). There is a $15 minimum to use a card so if you're just having 1 drink, bring cash. No cover. Pool tables and bar. I was told they no longer sell food at this Bar & Grill but I didn't confirm if the kitchen closes very early, is temporarily closed or closed indefinitely. There is outdoor space and also a food truck up the alley behind the businesses on Grand River. The staff was friendly and there was plenty of seating. It's not huge but there was a perfect number of people to enjoy yourself and not be crowded with people breathing COVID unknowingly. Old school music with some hustle tracks thrown in. I would go back.“

“The food is good and reasonably priced. It's a nice bar with a quiet section with tables to dine at. The hamburgers are very good and the crack fries are delicious.Wheelchair accessibility: It's very easy to get in the door and maneuver around the tables and bar but the bathroom is definitely not accessible. There's barely enough room for a mobile person to get into the stall a walker won't fit and a wheelchair is a definite no-go.“

“An absolute staple. Best burger around period. Old school. Don't mess with excellence. If you're upset about the limited menu you do not understand timeless classic American pleasures. Never change Millers. P.s I heard they put in tvs since my last visit and am not thrilled with that. Love stepping back in time and having an old school experience. Everywhere has tvs now and it's nice to have a break from that.“

Dance floor looked a little small. It was super crowded on a Saturday night. Will get there early next time so I can have some where to sit.“

“Used to be my hang out every night after even week nights, then off to "CHERR'S" (Rene's) for drinks with pool and darts! Miss my friends from the 90s and think of them often!! Great side appts Mini Taco's, fried mushrooms but couldn't beet a Great BarBurger!! Then I could stumble home! ??So happy to know that little bar is still open! Grew up there!“

“I came here today for music bingo it's so much fun. But also had to try some food, I wasn't able to get the best pictures because the lights are low. Their onion rings and Fried pickles are hand battered and Fried perfectly they were both really good. I didn't care too much for the boneless bbq chicken. The wrap was pretty good as well it was just the perfect amount of heat. The service was great our waitress had all the tables in the main seating area and she was able to keep up with all of us. I will definitely come back great experience“
