My boyfriend and I had lunch here yesterday and it was such a nice experience. The '80s and '90s theme is so cool! and the girl behind the counter who took our order was as sweet as could be. I wish I couldn't remember the name of the store owner, and I should have written it down, but what a genuine nice guy! The food was superior! I had the chicken and bacon ranch wrap which was so large that I had to take half of it with me. My boyfriend's Ringo Burger was so delicious and so fresh tasting. We also had the cajun fries and he generously offered a cup of French onion soup for us to try. All I can say is delicious! I would definitely recommend this place and I will be coming back again! Every bite felt satisfying and well made. It turned out to be a great choice and left me wanting to return again. “FANTASTIC WITH ALLERGIES!!! I placed an order online and as the (I assume) owner handed me my order he assured me they do not use any nuts in their food besides pesto for a few items and walnuts housed separately and handled with allergies in mind.

“Ordered through Doordash at 10PM on Christmas evening! What a lifesaver. Dark meat chicken is so good. Lightly breaded (if any breading at all). The skin is very crispy and tasty. Ate it with pickled jalapeno and fried pickles. Reasonable price.“

“I used to think that Wing Snob had the absolute best tenders due to their size, breading and juiciness.

Side Chic’s blows them out of the water along with every other spot in Detroit/Dearborn (Savvy Sliders, Checkers, KFC, Chic Fil A, Chick N Kingz etc.)

The breading on the tenders is very, very flavorful. They also put the perfect amount of breading on each tender.

I absolutely hate overbreaded tenders where it feels like you’re chewing through multiple layers till you hit chicken.

Side Chic’s avoids this completely by having a nice layer of breading that adds flavor and doesn’t distract from the chicken.

The chicken itself is hot, juicy and well textured. This is not rubbery, dry chicken. The only other way I can describe it is it just tastes fresh. I was thoroughly impressed.

Side Chic’s is a carry out spot that’s open very, very late (which is awesome). Everyone who works there is incredibly pleasant and helpful.

Also, even though the chicken is fresh and made to order, your food comes out in a fairly quick manner.

“The wings were really, really good. I purchased the favorite, which is lemon pepper (fav) and I purchased Spicy Pickle. My fries on the other hand were soggy. You probably can use half of the garlic parm on those, but maybe I should have just gotten a dry rub. I do recommend using something other than Styrofoam because Styrofoam sweats it does not allow the fries to breathe, and that makes them soggy as well.“

She even called beforehand and confirmed price. when she arrived she was given a different price. So bad customer service and false advertisement. Me & my family won't be returning. I almost didn't try this place tonight because of the three star review after trying the food the three-star reviews made zero sense to me so after going back and further investigating it was all bad reviews from people who had to wait in line longer than they wanted to for their food people who were told their food will be ready in 20 minutes and really it took 30.
