Every service person we interacted with was friendly and phenomenal. The owner even stopped by to make sure everything went well for our meal. “Honest review - my friend suggested I try this spot, I’m used to eating pizza from places like Pizza Hut, hungry homies, etc. mostly chains. Never tried real authentic pizza before. When I came into fredi’s it was overall amazing!!! Great atmosphere, amazing customer service, they’re super quick aswell. And the food. OMG, legit the best pizza I ever ate in my life. I tried a regular slice the first time. Amazing. Then I got one with a few toppings, loved it. Then I got a buffalo chicken pizza and it blew my mind away!!! Best pizza I ever ate 3 times over!!!! I’ve been back almost everyday since I came. Took a couple friends there and they all agreed that it was the best pizza they ever ate. This place is the truth!!!!!!“

“We’ve lived in Lincoln park for 5 years and always drove by Vic’s but never went in…. Yesterday my husband and I had dinner here and OMG were we impressed! “We hosted a couples shower in the Cantina for 50 with strolling appetizers 8 stations including desserts. All the food was excellent, which got positive comments from everyone I spoke with. Debbie who was running the show that evening was very attentive to and just great to work with. Chris the bartender was also great, if he didn’t have something down at his bar he got it from upstairs. It was a great event!“

“My husband and I had the pleasure of dining at Tiliani tonight for our anniversary. The atmosphere was romantic, the staff members were knowledgeable and friendly, and the food was superb! They went above and beyond to make our date special, and were very accommodating of my dietary restrictions. I love that they use local and in-season produce when available and that their menu is not ordinary or boring. We would highly recommend Tiliani and we look forward to dining here for years to come.“

“Ordered take out pizza and salad side of ranch and a cannoli. When i got home i realized they forgot the cannoli, i called them and they apologized and offered to refund me. Though he said once he looked that they never charged me for a cannoli. Once i got off the phone my fiancé noticed they also forgot to give us the side of ranch we ordered as well. Everything we got tasted good, so we’ll try them out again, but double check all the bags before we leave.“

“The food was good. I went there for the extensive gluten free options. The selection was very good. The waitress was efficien, but we were rushed. She brought the appetizers out with the soup and salad, even though we ordered the appetizers prior to the main meal. She brought the cheque without asking if we wanted coffee and/or desert. We ordered coffee and desert. When we asked for gelato at the table she told us we could take it to go. And what, eat it in the car? “I have been here over 50 times. I have never even had to send something back or ask for more anything. Their staff is highly skilled and attentive. My favorite dish is the Veal Marsala and the shrimp scampi. Their Pasta Fagiole soup is outstanding along with the Swiss onion And minestrone. My wife's favorite is the eggplant parmesan. Salads are made fresh at your table and delicious.the desserts are top notch and have been featured on the cooking channel. Cherries jubilee is my fav. The atmosphere is romantic and dimly lit. Fresh bread and cheese on every table. You won't be disappointed.“

Over these visits, I quickly grew quite fond of Angelo Brothers, the Family/owners, & the staff! I brought almost Twenty different individuals along with me over the six separate visits. Amazing food, Friendly service, and More! The first photo was my own creation, alfredo pasta, with shrimp, mushrooms, along with baked cheese on top!? The second photo is their AmAzInG Prime Rib of Beef Au Jus- it is Fantastic ? I had it Three times in a row? The third photo was their Savory/Delicious, special in family recipe stuffed Cannoli!? “My husband and I had All Things Cake make our wedding cake for our September 30th wedding. The cake was beautiful and of course delicious. There was a small situation with our order not being in the system when we called to make the final payment, but it was handled quickly with a call from Barb and everything turned out perfect. Don't be afraid to get creative, staff will totally help you live your pizza dreams! ✅ Extra toppings are allowed on orders(with a charge, of course, that isn't bad for size) so you can go as wild as you wish. I picked up some sopresatta and hot cappicola, a gorgeous 2 lb porterhouse, a flank steak and some ready-for-the-grill kabob style steak skewers. “I brought my girlfriend here for a late night dinner to celebrate her birthday. We have come a few times before and I have always enjoyed it. The restaurant is nice and very Italian if that is a thing. They have a nice size bar and the dining room isn't huge, but big enough to hold bigger tables. The staff is always so friendly and makes you feel welcome. We were seated right away and put in our drink order. Our waiter was great and friendly. We ordered the sausage with peppers and onions with eggplant for an appetizer. Highly recommend this appetizer cause it is very tasty. Enough for a few people. I ordered the gnocchi Bolognese and my girlfriend ordered the chicken rollotini. I thought the bolognese sauce was a little sweet, but still a very good sauce. The gnocchi themselves I really enjoyed. The chicken rollotini is a very big entree. And tastes great. The chicken is stuffed with cheese and spinach over a bed of white pasta. Highly recommend this dish. The bread they serve with the meal is also very good. Three servers did come out and sing happy birthday to my girlfriend which I thought was extremely kind of them. Gave us a cannoli as well, which again, didn't disappoint. Overall, Cariera's is a great restaurant with great servers.“
