“I had to prepare some food for a potluck, but I had a pretty full schedule. I called Liberati's and they were able to accommodate me on about 36 hours notice with 3 of their 3' party subs. They were on time and ready when I arrived and Frank himself helped to load them into my car. I wasn't ready for what came next: texts, mail, and messages all saying thank you for a great contribution and half of them asking me where to get them. You clearly can't go wrong with LIberati's.“

My husband follows Dave Portnoy who claims Fredi has the best pizza in Detroit so of course we had to validate this! We ordered The Don, Fredo, and Santino - no complaints. The Fredo was my favorite though.

“This place was quite delicious. I would recommend getting a 10:00 to 2 as opposed to the five to one like I did. That was all my fault! At least a 10/2 to would have had a better bread to meet ratio. Just my opinion! Lol. It was really good. But it definitely needed more meat and cheese than less! Close to the airport. They do take card or cash. Does have a parking lot. And a fun little police car out front!“

“My wife and I finally stopped in last Wednesday after wanting to try it for years but never being in the area during their open hours (Tuesday through Saturday 4-9). We were not disappointed. I had the Chicken Gregorio which was fantastic as was the stuffed pepper soup. My wife had the Chicken Parmigiana which she loved and the Ham and Potato soup which she said was delicious. The bread and oil was great as well. We enjoyed watching the train circling above. All staff were friendly and helpful. A great experience.“

“Tonight I attended a wedding at C & G and could not be more impressed, and also pissed at myself for not patronizing this welcoming restaurant sooner. I’m lactose intolerant and allergic to chicken. The staff was incredibly accommodating and gracious. This is not often a feeling I receive when bringing up food allergies. The food & drinks were so incredibly tasty and the views were unreal. The Train station, spires of St Anne’s and the Ambassador Bridge all in one shot. Turn to the left and you have the beautifully landscaped Roosevelt park to stroll through after enjoying the back porch. I’m so blown away, and so happy my friend finally got me here! “We celebrated my brother in law's 90th birthday yesterday with a celebration at Cariera's. In addition to the excellent food...a charcuterie board with a selection of cheeses and fresh fruit, salad, lasagna and chicken marsala, the service was wonderful and the ambiance and music felt like we were somewhere in Tuscany!

My only critique is the chicken bites had more crumbs than chicken, and add a Cajun version of the alfredo because some people like spice lol otherwise I was satisfied with my order“

“Up until tonight, which is New Year's Eve and also my birthday, this restaurant has been my favorite place to eat. Not only is the food spectacular, but the service has always been perfection...until tonight. Usually, the staff is so attentive, and I never have to remind them to bring anything. Tonight, so many things were forgotten and/or incorrect. The server had to be reminded twice to bring us bread. The butter was frozen, so it was impossible to spread, and, in the past, the butter was always room temperature, and that detail was appreciated. Next, my drink was forgotten and the server had to be reminded. My husband requested that his drink be served with dinner which it wasn't and delivered to the wrong person. My friend's meal was incorrect, so she had to sit and watch everyone else eat as she waited. The restaurant did give her a complimentary soup for the mistake, so that was nice. What was probably most upsetting was that we requested dessert plates for cupcakes that we brought and the server told us that we would be charged $20, just for using dessert plates! We weren't asking for a cake to be cut or served, just plates to put our cupcakes on and it was a $20 charge! Absolutely ridiculous, especially since we were a group of 7 that ordered drinks and dinner. So, we had to have our cupcakes in the parking lot. Last, the server told us that they could not split up a bill, so we had to sit there figuring out all the math, and the server used the cash that was part of his tip from one friend to reduce the balance from another friend's bill who was paying with a credit card. It was such a mess, and I was very disappointed. This used to be my favorite restaurant for years, but with so many mistakes, it's hard to want to come back, which is a shame because the food is amazing. My advice is to not come for large parties! I hope management fixes the training of their servers. It used to be outstanding. Not sure who dropped the ball so far.“

“This girl, Brielle was very helpful in finding the perfect pizza order. She gave me a list of all the different types of crust, toppings, and styles of pizza! “After the celebration service for my grandpa, Jimmy Baker, our family gathered at Del’s Pizza in Trenton, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about Tony and his staff.

Tony graciously opened the restaurant early for us from 12–3 PM, even though those are not their normal business hours, so our family could simply be together, share a meal, and spend time reconnecting after a very meaningful day.

That kind of kindness and flexibility is rare today. You can tell Del’s Pizza is more than just a restaurant — it’s a place that truly cares about people and the community.

The food was wonderful, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and Tony treated our family like his own. We are incredibly grateful for his generosity and hospitality during such an important time for our family.
