“Any time we're in the area we make sure to stop in. Food is great, but he service is EXCELLENT, especially Maggie! Please don't listen to the many reviews referencing breast feeding. It's quite clear the person who was asked to be discreet posted in some moms group and a gaggle of people who've never eaten here decided to leave a review. It is what it is, I guess. You should definitely eat here and Maggie deserves a raise!“

“We visited a few restaurants during our stay in IM and I have to say that Solberg's Greenleaf is one of the best. The restaurant is also very well attended on weekdays, but they are impressively well organized. The food is alright, the portions are huge.“

“just had the best service! the ladies at the window were outstanding and sweet. it meant a lot to me how compassionate they were. we just lost our one dog a couple weeks ago and we have been trying to make sure our other dog is thriving and happy and these ladies really made his day and ours 💕🐕 sorry I didn't catch their names, but we were there at 1:40 pm on 6/8/2021“

“Part of our hunt club -7 men - was there for the Friday night fish-fry on November 15, 2024. The food was very good; and the outdoor/hunting/fishing decor is excellent! The restaurant was full of people being served -very busy - but the service was great! In appreciation, we gave our waitress an extra large tip! She deserved it!😎😃“

“5 stars. 18 holes here was a relaxing time. Mostly surrounded by forest we saw a ton of wild life. The pro shop also had a nice bar with hamburgers and brats. Hole 17 has an amazing view“
“Always get one of the burgers on the menu when passing thru. Haven't left they're yet and not been full after enjoying it. Costs are comparable places. Service has always been good.

“Delicious food, fast & friendly service, & a laid back & rustic atmosphere. I went with a group of 3 around 3:00 & had a server greet us right away & get us drinks & an appetizer order right away, which arrived promptly. We all ordered different types of burgers with fries. I got an amaretto sour & the patty melt burger with Cajun fries & it was delicious!!!“

“Wide variety of pasties as well as other menu items. Fish sampler had cod, walleye, shrimp, and a type of corn fritters. Served with coleslaw and choice of potato. Miners dinner special was choice of pasty, Cole slaw, a cookie and a drink. Very unique atmosphere celebrating the Yoopers and pasties.“

“Three friends and I were visiting from southern Wisconsin... and we wanted to go bowling. We were staying in Iron Mountain. We originally had gone to the bowling alley there, however while waiting at the bar for a lane, the man running it was so offputting and rude we didn't want to stay. We asked him about Uptown and he said they were his #1 competition. So we said thanks, cancel our lane, we're heading over there.So glad we did.It's definitely a little run down, you may or may not get shoes that fit, or even a ball that fits, but the atmosphere and the employees were amazing. Food was good... although they do refer to beer dip as beer cheese ? Not good on the soft pretzels, but awesome on the burger!I'd definitely go back.“

“First time. I had the Italian Combo. We had a short wait since we were a party of 6. The hostess was friendly, the bartender was friendly and so was our waitress. Everything on my platter was homemade. Definitely a 5 out of 5. I will be back!!!“
