“I live in royal oak, and a friend turned me on to Rosie's when going to my cabin in Gladwin. It's right off 75. It's clear as soon as you walk in that it's a clean, quaint, pleasant little spot. Patty and her crew are the best. So nice and patient while i gaze at all the delectable treats and pastries. The pies and cookies are to die for! Heath cookies are my fav! I just found out they cater also. I can't say enough good about Rosie's! They supply to a lot of local diner/restaurants too. So you may have eaten her pies and not known it. Thanks Patty your the best!“

“My roommates at SVSU and I are use to being surrounded by local bakeries at home and have really missed it while going to college. So now from time to time we'll go to Elaine's for doughnuts and have really enjoyed them. Some of my personal favorites are the fruity pebbles one, the orea one, and the custard one. However, they never last very long in our dorm and i haven't had a bad one yet. I'm seeing a lot of complaints about the quality and i would just like to remind everyone that the lady that we always see at the front desk and have always gotten good service from doesn't bake the doughnuts so you can be mad at her if you want but it's not her fault. Also it's not cops and doughnuts so chill. Also someone thought the doughnuts were expensive, but even as broke college students we can afford to splurge from time to time and I've always thought that the pricing was fair. We also tried the cookies once and we weren't really fans but we go for the doughnuts anyway so it is what it is.“

I've been looking for a good sourdough bread and even though this isn't homemade it's a great alternative. I usually buy 2 at a time because the family and I go through loaves so quickly. Fresh, delicious and well priced. I highly recommend stopping in for the bread as well as the other treats, of course!“
