My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful time here and we actually chose to spend TWO evenings of our vacation at Boathouse Vineyards enjoying their back yard on the water and fantastic live music! The people working here were so friendly, we felt like old friends. Linus was great, making sure we were enjoying ourselves and had everything we needed. We brought home a few bottles to enjoy during our vacay and to bring home to share with friends. Will definitely be back next year!
The two reds we had weren’t the greatest, but they kept suggesting whites so maybe red isn’t their specialty. Anyway, this place definitely wins for the chillest winery I’ve been to in Michigan. Out back, people lounged around on lawn chairs with their wine and cheese boards as a band played, and there is even a dock should you decide to arrive by boat. Would definitely go back.

We are “local” and have been going to The Boathouse for several years. One of our favorite wineries in the area. We enjoy sharing a bottle on the porch or the beautiful lawn for the price of a glass at some other wineries. The wine is good and a good value. The service has always been excellent.
