Worst flurries we have ever been served due to the lack of candy bits. I do not like candy overload, but there was a bit of candy in only three of the bites of the entire flurry.“

“I’ve been here before, but it’s been some years since that time. Tonight we came in with our 1 1 /2 yr old and the only thing I could ask for is to be more kid friendly. I asked the host tonight 3/27/25 if there were any extra balloons… my daughter could have while we had dinner and the host had to ask her manager & manager said no. Ok. 👍 cool. We have coloring books and sketch pads to keep her occupied, nothing from the restaurant and then my daughter had grilled cheese and fries come out and seriously piping hot. As a mom, I’m sorry, but her plate was so hot, fries and sandwich were so hot. How come the cooks couldn’t leave them out for a little bit of time before our meals came out or whatever… as a family restaurant you should have coloring crayons like other restaurants near by… and just simply be more kid friendly. It’s already hard enough to get out and specially as a family. I’m not sure after this experience that I personally will come back.“

While I miss the mushroom options thank you for introducing me to my love for sweet potato as both the wrap and bowl are delicious. Can’t wait to go back soon. “We enjoyed our time at the HUB. We went for a small birthday party and did the golfing simulator and bombowling. The golf simulator is not TopGolf so I’m not sure why it’s labeled as such… we had several issues with the simulator and no one knew enough about it to assist. The bombowling was fun, but at $100/hr for the lane, it’s a bit steep. We were able to get a few games in with 6 people but once it gets crowded it can be problematic with footballs flying and bouncing everywhere. Overall, I’d come back with a larger group so you can split costs evenly. Prices can start to get higher if it’s less than 4 people.“

“I’ve never had a bad meal at any one of their many restaurants. We celebrated my daughter and her graduation this evening with dinner at the Deer Lake Inn. Everything we had was great and the server we had was superb, great food and service. The entire menu is good, you can’t go wrong.“

Update: after about 10 visits here I can say a few things real quick. I think the staff needs a lot more room behind the counter they dance around each other trying to provide the best and quickest service possible.

Also, the space needs some sound insulation, the staff has a really hard time hearing us. A few small modifications can make a huge quality of life difference for these hard workers who serve delicious healthy food.“

“I dream about these bagels. I grew up in Lake Orion, but I moved to Indiana recently and I have yet to find a bagel as good as Mannie's. Every time I visit my family up in Michigan I make sure to stop for a Mannie's bagel. Truly the absolute best bagels I've ever had, and no other place has been comparable so far.“

“I stopped by the Olive Garden in Rochester Hills recently, and honestly, it felt like stepping back in time. The place looks old … not in a charming way, but more like it hasn’t been updated in years. There’s definitely a sentimental side to it, especially for someone who used to love Olive Garden, but that feeling can only carry so far.

The chain’s overall quality seems to be slipping. From the service to the food, everything felt just… average. It wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t great either. You can still count on the breadsticks and salad to do their job, but beyond that, the dishes don’t have the flavor or consistency they used to.

It’s a 3-star experience for me , mostly for the memories, not the meal.“

“Moved to Houston area seven years ago , always stop at Buddy’s when we’re back in town to visit family. Haven’t found anywhere else with an antipasto salad like Buddy’s and of course the pizza is always the best .“

The atmosphere was nice and inviting. There were a few people sitting and enjoying their treats, but it wasn’t busy at all.

I tried the pineapple coconut smoothie frozen yogurt, which is both gluten-free and vegan. Unfortunately, it didn’t hit the mark for me—it was really sweet and lacked strong pineapple or coconut flavors. I ended up giving it to the kids. I was hoping it would be closer to the pineapple flavor they had before.

Even though that flavor wasn’t my favorite, I would still recommend Menchie’s! This location was friendlier than the last one I visited, they have a good selection, and lots of toppings to choose from. I also appreciate that they charge by weight, so you can get as much or as little as you want.“
