“Good first time visit. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was really nice inside and had more of a restaurant vibe instead of a Bar so that was really nice. French Dip had a really good flavor and the BBQ Bacon Cheese Burger was cooked perfectly and was still juicy even though i said well done. The bun on the bugets and french dip held together nicely. Ribs where really flavorful and tender pulled the rib meet off with a fork. Pretzel bites and the deep fried cheese chunks where surprisingly good as where the nachos. Only complaint is the chicken we got was very dry and salad had only lettuce in it but besides it was a really nice first visit. Almost forgot get the homemade chips over the fries they are really tasty.“

“We normally like everything at Sideline’s but today ordered the shrimp fettuccine. Normally very good. Today it was so salty you couldn’t eat it. The manager came out a blamed it a the prep chef. They did offer to make another meal. The issue I had was they kept serving that sauce to other customers. Someone is going to get very sick.. I can’t believe a real chef would continue to serve that.“

“First time at Manhattan's. Really came for the Reuben but ended up getting their Carnegie. The sandwich was big and was split between the two of us. Started off with the French Onion soup. Best I've had in Toledo. The corned beef and pastrami on the sandwich was generous and delicious. The pickled green tomato was a crunchy surprise. Free parking right next door was a bonus. Will definitely be headed back soon to try their Reuben.“

“I ordered over the phone, day after the German American fest. The guy was busy but he still knew how to talk to the customer. I figured it was probably the boss. I want to thank that whole family, for keeping good food around. That means more to people than they will let you know. The food is good and the portions make me feel like i got away with something.“

“We had a birthday party here with about 30 people. Kim was so helpful and kind with the planning process. On the actually night, all our guests had delicious meals with fast service. Our waitresses were efficient and friendly the whole time. All the food is amazing. I've never had a bad meal here. This has become one of my favorite places to eat downtown. Go visit them, you won't be sorry! Fantastic food!“

“We thought we would try this place out and we were very pleased that we did. We are from CT, and we have some pretty good steak spots there but the prime rib here was absolutely amazing. A tiny bit salty on the outer crust but other than that cooked perfectly and the taste was phenomenal. Mashed potatoes were great all around and carrot cake for dessert was fabulous as well. I give the place a good 4.9. I will definitely go back!

If you are considering some ice cream for yourself, this is definitely the place to go. There are multiple types, combinations, and the best part is, it's cheap!

“Ordered cheese bread and a small 9” pizza and wow! The cheese bread appetizer is basically a 12” cheese pizza with a side of pizza dipping sauce ! Plenty enough to eat on its own!

It’s hard to rate a pizza against Fredi the pizza man in Melvindale MI which is phenomenal if you like a New York style pizza which I do.

But, I think it’s a really really bad idea for the Village Inn to serve a pizza that they baked in a plastic dish . Even if it was BPA free which I don’t know if the pizza dishes are, or, aren’t BPA free . The idea of safe plastic for cooking anything is concerning.
Their pizzas would be much crispier if baked in a pizza oven rather than a plastic pizza dish.

Great looking place in the inside and outside as well.

“My husband and I had dinner here before a concert at the Toledo zoo. I had looked at the menu online but I didn't realize it was Barcelona night, so I was a little disappointed because I was looking forward to the regular menu online. (My mistake)
We decided to stay and give a try & I must say the tapas was some of the best creations I ever had! We thoroughly enjoyed the Spanish wine and all the different small plates we ordered! So many wonderful flavors!! Hope there's a good show at the Zoo next year so we can eat at your fine establishment again!!

“had the Sausage Gravy and Biscuits, Sausage Gravy was Average but the biscuits were from a can. When you can peel layers its from a can. you can do better than that. you could buy a flat of biscuits better than the canned version.“

“Hands down, my favorite restaurant ever. You just can't go wrong with a Big Boy, with tarter sauce on it, and a side of crispy fries. I have ordered the same thing every time since I was a kid. If I see a Big Boy while out doing things, I make it a point to stop in for a bite. They never disappoint. The service is always fast and friendly, and the prices are right!

“It has been a while since I have had lunch at Grumpy’s. Very happy to see a new owner. She is focused and committed to bring Grumpy’s back to what is was in the 90's. We shared the Ruben sandwich, excellent flavor, toasted perfectly. Only wish they had better chips. I started with the chicken noodle soup. Definitely homemade, delicious with plenty of chicken and vegetables. Could have been a little hotter. As time goes by, the ownership will continue to add to their menu. Overall, very good with great service and atmosphere!“
