This is one of my favorite places to get a no stress no mess meal in Lansing. The service is always great and the food is excellent. The atmosphere is low-key and cozy without being overly familiar.
I went there for the first time after 11 AM Mass today, and had lunch with fellow Parishioners, and tried their hamburger special which includes a hamburger, fries and a choice of whatever beer suits your fancy. It looks like a small portion but it is enough to fill you up. Nice chill little dive bar with a nice atmosphere, and plenty of parking spots.
This place lives up to the hype! I got a full meal for 8 bucks and it was so delicious! The fries were house made and very yummy. Service was friendly and professional. The bar atmosphere was fun, but one point off because of a group of drunk dudes cussing it up with one of the cooks. Not a big deal, but unexpected at lunch time.
