I happened to notice the macarons today, while in Horrocks. I tried the cookies and cream and French vanilla and oh. my. word. These are literally the best macarons I have ever had, and I'm being absolutely serious! The vanilla one was the perfect cookie. The crunch, the sweetness, the smooth filling, everything about it was mouth wateringly delicious! As if I needed another reason to go into Horrocks haha! 10/10! Will definitely try more flavors next time.
I had a great experience at Iorio Gelato this evening. The trays looked very neat and were well designed. The two servers working tonight were extremely hospitable and kind. I tried two flavors, Cookie Butter and Hazelnut, and I was very impressed with both flavors. The hazelnut was comparable to gelato I've had in Europe. It made me very happy!
The owner of this Gelato business makes all the Gelato herself and it is delicious and so creamy. She offers many different flavors and you can get a decent sized sample before deciding what flavors you want. Reasonable prices.
