They were very knowledgeable about Celiac and cleaned the machines before use. They keep all GF items separated as well. “If you are visiting the New Center area of Detroit or are looking for a new local coffee shop, you HAVE to check out Saturn Coffee! I think the best way to describe how great Saturn Coffee is would be to say that I've been there literally EVERY weekend since they opened at the end of August 2025! I usually can't go during the week due to my work schedule, but if I have a weekday off I'm there. Within a few weeks they already knew me by name and knew my go-to order!

Sarah and Chris, the owners, are the sweetest couple! They're very kind, friendly, warm, and funny. Their employees that work with them are all the same way! I've never had any problems with any of the staff, and they always make you feel welcome and at home in the coffee shop.

The interior is cute and quaint, but there is still plenty of seating and table space. It is a chill environment that makes it easy to do some work on the computer (they do have wifi), read, or even work on a crochet project (which I have done). It's even a great space to meet up with a significant other, family, or a friend to just hang out.

Every single drink my husband and I have had there has been amazing! My go-to is a caramel mocha latte with whole milk. During the summer it was iced, but I've recently switched to hot and it's delicious both ways. My husband is more adventurous, so I've had sips of his various drinks and enjoyed them all too! He's tried the hot brewed coffee, cold brew, cherry espresso coca cola, hot cocoa with oat milk, maple sea salt latte with oat milk (seasonal), and their Arnold Palmer.

We've also enjoyed the baked goods they offer. Their in-house biscuit and breakfast sandwiches are a good start to the morning. I don't know where they get the cookies they offer, but the brown butter chocolate chip cookie is delicious! I'm always tempted to get one when they have them available.“

“Where im from, there’s a smoothie bowl place on every corner so it’s been hard for me to find one here that’s as good as home. Well this one hit the spot.

The service was spectacular at at no other place have I found have you been able to mix the bases. Personally I love the coconut with the açaí but here they had banana, so of course I tried that and it was spectacular.

Prices are pretty reasonable and for the bowls, you get a decent amount and it thaws just as good for left overs.

10/10 will be my new stop for an after work smoothie“

“My experience at A-OK Cafe was very pleasant. Firstly, the atmosphere is extremely beautiful. I love the dark vibe and the color scheme they have going on. It is a little small, but that is not too big of an issue. The service was great and the employees are always professional. I have been here 3-4 times, so you can see the different drinks I have pictured below. The first drink that I have pictured is one of their pistachio lattes, which was okay, but their pistachio did have a strong almond extract flavor. That is something I am not the biggest fan of. The last drink I have pictured is their banana pudding matcha latte, which I preferred over the pistachio latte. The flavors were there, but at other cafes, there is banana pudding with fresh bananas placed on top of the drink. I believe the bananas placed on top were frozen or just very cold. Regardless, the flavors were great, but I personally have had better banana pudding matchas at other cafes.“
