“We were here for boating event this week Aug 1st. It was 7:45-8pm. We walked in and greeted by Jasmine. She was very upbeat and helpful while ordering. This woman is a star and needs to be recognized. I’m 100% certain her coworkers also agree. The food was hot and fresh, for 8pm, that is amazing. Jasmine I want to say thank you by writing this though I told you personally before leaving. Thank you so much.“

“VESTAVIA HILLS, AL LOCATION: I have been excited to tell yall about this place man (video review coming soon)! I got the chance to go to the grand opening of Dave's Hot Chicken and boy did it live up to the hype! Let's start off with first impressions. The building looks super cool from the outside to the inside. From the dope color skeems to the patterns and art work. Staff was amazing as well. Even though we were in a long line everything moved quickly. Staff was very helpful and whoever that lady manager is was doing her freaking job boy I loved her! Now let's get to some negative before we get to the positive. Something was absolutely wrong with that milkshake machine or the product. It was awful tasting and had a weird stringy like glue consistency. We don't know what it was but we quickly threw them away. We even saw other customers pouring their milkshakes out rinsing the cups and getting soda instead. Hopefully by now they have caught this and fixed the situation. Now the positive. The food itself I don't have anything to say but delicious! The chicken was good and everything went so well with each other. Like man the only thing to me that was just okay was the macaroni and cheese it was just cheese and noodles. It just needed a little salt and pepper and it would have been in there. “Came here today , Saturday , for a first time visit to any Lee’s location and placed my lunch to go order at the register , nobody else in the place .
The woman who took my order was polite and helpful .
I got the 3 piece and 4 piece original chicken meal , both with cole slaw and mashed / gravy and 2 biscuits .
It was packaged really nice .
Got home and we were both really impressed with everything , tasted fresh / warm and nicely presented in the carry out container .
Butter , honey and napkins in the bag .
We both said it’s something we would definitely order again .
Only $23 for both meals .“

So as I prepare to place a catering order, I thought I will post snippets of my over 5 year experience of this Awesome Chester location: quality chicken, ingredients, cooks on their job always, all spaces always clean and SERVICE is GOOOD TOO!!

“I really had the best sweet spaghetti here. But was extremely grossed out by an elderly man just living next to the register? Just a full hospital bed chilling right at the end of the pickup counter on the way to the restrooms.... For all to see. He was sitting up in his bath robe, eating a Peach Mango Pie, and attending a Zoom call on his laptop.... 👍“

“First of I just wanna say the chicken and our sides were amazing that's genuinely some of the best gas station chicken I've ever had normally it's always dry any time you get gas station chicken not this time! The breading was Krispy and crunchy as advertised! And moist! Me and my wife tired it together I got a 6 piece combo and my wife got a 4 piece combo my Mac was good and our biscuits were to die for crunchy on the outside with a sweet honey taste and soft and moist on the inside me and my wife will definitely be coming back to try the chicken sandwiches! And more sides and different pieces of chicken to try it all looked amazing and the side dips were amazing I'd recommend the ranch, the signature sauce, and the honey mustard!“

“Got a half slab of ribs, the super combo, which was a slab of ribs, 12 pieces of chicken and two side orders. Got the broasted potatoes for side orders and they were delicious as were the chicken and ribs. A bit pricey, but we don’t order from here very often. This place was not my first choice because we usually get our broasted chicken and ribs from Lazybones on Groesbeck but they closed on April 12. What a bummer.“
