“3 stars Phulkari has good food but the interior and the sitting area needs to be upgraded a little bit , it was late when we got in and found plates were not cleared and tables were a bit dirty . For me , if I need the food , I will pack and go .“

“Had lunch with my aunt here today. The service was perfect, attentive but not over done and the food was delicious. Some of the best garlic naan ive had in a while and the samosas we fantastic. The information got the chicken coconut entree and it was incredibly tender. The sauce was creamy and fragrent and the spice level was very nice. Overall, one of the best dining experiences ive had in a while, will definitely be back!“

“This place was the best, very clean and amazing customer service! Their food is soo good and they are really nice. Everything was seasoned great, cooked to perfection and the portions were beyond what i expected. They also have a long list of different kinds of food that you can try. I have two small kids who run and play a lot and since they are so young they don’t like sitting for long. The lady in there didn’t care and in fact started playing with them, carrying them and put on music and started dancing along with them; something that not a lot of people do. Overall I would definitely come back to this place and try the rest of their menu options“

“First time went for Iftar with the family and amazingly everything was on point mashallah. We heard mix reviews from our friends and family but honestly we didn't taste anything better than this place in michigan. For the buffet they had various options to choose from and the price was really affordable. We tried the best zilabi on town. My picky eater son finished everything which means it's really good. Highly recommend this place ?“

“Midnight temple is so delicious. I love the gobi manchurian, eggplant peanut stew, dosa, samosas, and mango lassi, and more. I am a vegetarian and they have so many delicious options for me and my boyfriend who eats meat. Perfect for a date night or night out with friends. Conveniently located right in the eastern market district“

“This is my go-to restaurant whenever I’m craving good vegetarian food. They have one of the best vegetarian menus around with a wide variety of choices. The chaat options stand out—flavorful and authentic, definitely worth trying. Regular pav bhaji is amazing, though I personally don’t enjoy the “special” pav bhaji since the cashews, almonds, and raisins take away from the original taste.
Their Chinese menu is also excellent—highly recommend the manchow soup, it’s rich and full of flavor. The restaurant itself is clean and fresh, and the service has always been really good and attentive. Overall, it’s a reliable spot that never disappoints.“

“What a great experience! Will definitely be back! Had a taste for Indian tonight and decided to try Red Chillies on a whim. We called in for two orders of butter chicken with rice and garlic naan. When I spoke to the gentleman on the phone, he excitedly assured me that this would be a much different experience than the surrounding Indian restaurants in the area. When we arrived at the restaurant we noticed the accolades on the wall, showing best Indian cuisine in Macomb County for the last 5 years. The host was so polite and friendly, and was eager to know what we thought of the food! We took it home, and the food stayed nice and hot. The butter chicken was full of spice and flavor, with delicious, tender chunks of chicken. The garlic naan was incredible -- super fresh, crispy on the bottom, and not soggy like other restaurants we've tried. All of this at an affordable price too! We're excited to branch out and try something new next time we come, which will hopefully be very soon! 😋🤤“

“The staff was super nice! The food was really tasty but fair warning, their version of mild is still really spicy. I ordered mango chicken very very mild, but it was so hot I added about a third of a cup of sour cream to cut the heat and it was still spicy.“

“We have been going there for years. We love their food, everything tastes great. Since they are renovating, we have tried two other restaurants near by and actually threw the food away from the last Indian restaurant in St Clair Shores. One of those things in which you don’t know how good something is until you have to go elsewhere.“

“The food was absolutely PERFECT. Fresh naan brought out. The Paneer Marsala and chicken kooma were some of my favorites.
The service was graceful. From being seated to water, to them anticipating the need for a clean spoon.
And the price point was really amazing.
It's a charming perfect lunch or date spot. Would absolutely recommend.“

“I tried the mandi here and it was amazing in both flavor and taste. The rice was perfectly cooked and the chicken was tender and well-seasoned. It took about 30 minutes to prepare, but it was totally worth the wait. Honestly, this is the best mandi I’ve had in Detroit. I’ll definitely be coming back for it again.“

“I ordered from the place for the first time. The food was really good and tasted the way those dishes were supposed to. I really liked the atmosphere as well. Nice place to sit down and eat. Good to see a fusion restaurant in warren.I see some people complaining that the chicken was dry but to tell you the truth that's an issue with a lot of Mediterranean restaurants I have been to, even the really fancy ones. Unless you tell them to cook the chicken medium rare or medium they tend to cook it well done. They can maybe add a little bit more salt to the chicken though.Their portions are not the largest but since the prices are relatively low you can always pay a little extra to have the portions increased.Let's also see if they add more items on their menu. I would love to see more fusion items. I know they are new so they probably don't want to clutter their menu with too many things right now.“

“Great, inexpensive food in the basement of the International Institute, adjacent to the Detroit Institute of Arts and the College for Creative Studies. A family-run operation with a mix of Indian, Lebanese and U.S. American options. Servers are kind and attentive. I special-orderd chicken-curry atop a salad (to avoid the carbs in rice) and loved it. Nothing fancy, but an excellent place for a good, quick lunch.“

“I’ve been going to this place for over 10 years now, and it’s consistently amazing. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. Their shahi paneer is truly one of a kind — I honestly don’t think anyone else makes it like New Delhi Restaurant. The bullet garlic naan is one of my go-tos, and it never disappoints.
Their carryout is always reliable, and the catering is just as great — it’s been a huge hit at parties and family events. Plus, everything is reasonably priced for the quality and portions you get. And don’t forget the green chili they include with the catering — make sure you ask for it. It’s the bomb! Definitely one of my longtime favorites!“

“ordered from door dash a couple of times and this will be my last. every time, there is something wrong with the order. today, half of the order was missing and packing was so careless that the driver showed up with a container full of food spilled in the bag.
