“Lake Burger on West Main is a real gem. The burgers are made from locally sourced, pasture-raised beef, and you can taste the difference. Everything feels fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The fries are hand-cut and some of the best I’ve had — crispy, flavorful, and not too greasy. Jake, the owner, is there every hour, making sure things are running smoothly and checking in with customers. It’s rare to see an owner that hands-on, and it really shows in the quality of the food and service. Jake’s a great guy, and his passion for his restaurant comes through in every detail. If you’re looking for a great burger in Kalamazoo, Lake Burger is the spot. Highly recommend!“

“This places welcomes with warmth, fresh smiles and enriching ambience. I used to come here when I was in the area. Nothing has changed since 2years except for increased smiles and warmth. I specifically drove from Chicago to have Brunch here. So far the best brunch places in USA and most importantly has many vegan options - unlike other places with only oat meal or fruit cup?.

“Out of all of the places in Kzoo, Blaze is the one I can consistently eat at without fear of dairy and wheat activated allergic reactions. Every time I've been, the employees have been kind and professional. My kids also love eating here!

“Bartender Michaela was fantastic!! It was very busy last Saturday night. Michaela was behind the bar, and my husband and I could not believe how efficient she was. She was making drinks for everyone at the bar as well those who were seated at tables in the bar and dining room. Michaela certainly knows how to make a great drink, too. We had a good experience that night, and besides Michaela's great work ethic, the food was delicious! Thank you Big T's and especially Michaela!“

“I have never eaten at Dickey’s and my family was here from the East side of the state to move my cousin in to WMU. I wanted us to try something new and we stopped at Dickey’s. I have to tell you…Sarah took EXCELLENT care of us! She made sure we ordered the best value for our group, she came from behind the counter to help me with menu selections for our family. “I went in on an insanely busy night. 6 people in the lobby and phone ringing nonstop, dozens of online orders. The staff of 4 was running around and working so hard, and they were so friendly given how busy they were! It took me less than 10 minutes to get my drink, which was fast considering how busy they were, and it was made perfectly! Huge kudos to those 4. Will be back!“
