“I'm Editing this review because I'm turned off by the employees smoking cigarettes outside. Part of the reason why I don't come here as often.

I'm not against peoples choices in their habits, I'm more turned off by the employees sitting on the bench next to the ice cream place and the few times going into the bakery, the employees smelled of cigarettes.

It's still a great place....

What can't you say about this bakery. Been around for decades. Always has been good. Girls behind the counter are friendly and prices for pastries...outstanding. I recommend the turnovers. Panera who? BTW look at the size of the pastry?“

“The doughnuts are stellar and so is the customer service! I was greeted and served by the owner; he was patient and kind as I asked flavors and such (because they weren’t labeled). The strawberry glazed and strawberry doughnut holes were my favorite. The ice cream was a bit soft, like the freezer had been left open of wasn’t working properly.

Aside from the soft ice cream, I have no complaints. The owner appeared to be working alone, but still delivered top tier customer service.

“I love getting the mix dozen(s)! I usually order off of Uber Eats, but when I do go in the space is so lovely and calming. If you do order in person I do recommend letting them know which ones you want in your mix box! Unless you dont care. Other than that this is such a lovely place.“

“What a wonderful experience at Donutville on Ford Road in Dearborn! I brought my 80-year-old nanny in this morning to celebrate her birthday, and the kindness we received truly made her day special. Natalie was incredibly sweet and welcoming, and she generously blessed us with a free dozen donuts, which was such an unexpected and thoughtful gesture.

The kindness didn’t stop there. A gentleman standing behind us in line even purchased a hot cocoa and a lemonade for us. It was one of those moments that restores your faith in people and reminds you how much small acts of kindness can mean.

The donuts were fresh and delicious, the atmosphere was warm and friendly, and everyone made my nanny feel celebrated on her special day. Seeing her smile and enjoy herself meant the world to me. “Polite staff, clean place and very delicious donuts. But I wish they would open up on time. Today is Friday online it said they open at 630am and I got there at 7am. The place was closed. Without no schedule or time board to be on the door.“

“Stopped at their set up in Bowling Green Ohio at the Thayer car dealership. Donuts were a little under cooked for my liking but my son said they were delicious. I ordered 1 bag of powdered. The lady looked irritated that I was ordering. Tossed my order up on the counter and went on with the conversation I had interrupted. She put 1 scoop of powdered sugar on top of the donuts and called it a day Untimely leaving us with 3 powdered donuts and the rest plain. I think a little more effort in creating the dish and interacting with customers could make this truck a very popular snack spot!“

“I was in the mood for a Apple Fritter so I stopped in. 1st time. Looked okay. Was empty. She didn't really speak English. But. The doughnuts were good. Pretty fresh. It was 2pm. “Chef Denetia did the desserts for my wedding. They were delicious as they were stunning. We did the chocolate framboise cupcake, banana crunch cupcake, passion fruit cupcake, mixed fruit tart, and the orange and rose shortbread. When you go in for a taste test, Chef Denetia will give you the more popular/basic flavors. I HIGHLY recommend you request to try the more unique treats because that is where she truly shines. My only complaint is that she was difficult to get in touch with. And I couldn’t finalize the menu until the week before my wedding because I was waiting on her to make me a few samples she had promised me. That being said, the samples were worth it!!!!“

Oh, and your coffee consistently will taste the same! My biggest pet peeve is when I order the same drink and it tastes different day to day. Definitely order your coffee here.“
