“Been an ocean place since 1947 and thier was a line 25 people deep. The creamy custard ice cream I've ever had. A must to visit if you are ever in this area. A must prices are really good banana slit 5.10 really good prices. Just give the girls some time to get it to you not long though. I had a hot fudge sundae with bananas but instead of cherry custard they put cherry topping I stead on fudge. Still was most excellent I tool what tiny bit I had left pome and still at it . A nice way to top off a detroit pizza. A++++++“

“Stopped in to see what they offered, and was surprised by the amazing list of fresh ice cream, fresh milk, and butter, and even fresh beef (frozen packed).

We then dwung around back to grab an ice cream cone... The ice cream is on point, definitely recommend the lemon poppyseed ice-cream.

La Gelati’s ice cream is so smooth and creamy you really notice the difference of it’s consistency vs. other places. The chocolate tasted like chocolate milk and my son said his vanilla was like vanilla milk. They were not very thick at all. I was expecting crushed pistachio, but the filling surprised me in the best way. It had the texture of coconut shavings, but with a crunch and so much flavor.

Parking: Parking lication very small for how popular this dairy queen is, and the spots are always getting blocked by the drive through line. O so rough in the summer time they should expand there parking lot or have street side reserved spots for that place it gets bad.....

I then supped, first on an order of chicken gyoza, which was really large (esp for such a low price). Then I ordered the Crouching Tiger roll, which was also quite generous in size, especially at the happy hour price. I'd wanted to try some other items, but my appetite was more than satisfied after the roll, so I hadda call it a night. Recommend Maru for happy hour w/o hesitation. The vibe is urban casual with a mostly youngish crowd, but comfortable for any age.“

It's better than DQ and it's priced cheaper AND the service is great AND the sizes are very generous ESPECIALLY for the price. The MOST I've paid before tip is 23$ and that's with 3 large banana splits with extra nuts and a cherry cheesecake thing my wife gets, at DQ that's over 30$ I actually enjoy the flavor of the syrups to me personally they taste genuine to the flavor unlike said DQ. This is not a hate DQ post it's just a reference almost everyone can relate to, besides its a local business and they are SUPER kind. The menu could use a touch up, no doubt but thats not worth losing a star over. If you want something they will make it for you, my son gets random things together ALL the time so just ask.
