“Like many found I discovered this through One Bite Pizza reviews. Came all the way from Toronto to try and let me say it was worth the hype. Some of the best pizza I've ever had and insanely fast getting it considering how slammed the place is.

“We came at 11pm on a busy Saturday night and we were seated almost immediately. It was a little loud but to be expected on late night weekend. For drinks I ordered the Friend of A Friend, 10/10 for sure. We ordered the garlic knots and got the grandma, pesto, and meatzza pizzas. The Pesto was definitely the star of the evening. Our server Paige was awesome and made us feel right at home. Would gladly come again.“

“It was my first time here and I gotta say it lives up to the hype. First of all our waitress was amazing she was so nice and joyful she made it super a super pleasant experience (I don’t remember her name but she had a red bow in her hair). I had the chicken fettuccine Alfredo and I am not lying when I say this was probably the best I’ve ever had my boyfriend had the chicken parm he really liked it. We will be back 100% worth the money. If you’re wanting to celebrate something special or feel like treating yourself and trying something new this is the place !“

“My son, who's moving to SanDiego, treated me there. He's been several times. Ambience, service, dinner and dessert were all excellent. Coffee was pretty darn good too. Can't go wrong!“

“Ordered pizza for pickup while staying across the street at Holiday Inn Express. Although the toppings were plentiful and delicious, the crust was undercooked & a little doughy! Plus, it was on a sheet of parchment/wax paper that was completely stuck to the crust & impossible to peel off! Unfortunately, these 2 details turned what should have been an enjoyable night into a messy and frustrating experience!“

They went above and beyond to make our date special, and were very accommodating of my dietary restrictions. I love that they use local and in-season produce when available and that their menu is not ordinary or boring. I crave eggplant all the time but every single time I do a carry out the man behind the counter "possibly owner, manager) has his arms crossed and is miserable can't even interact with the customers likes he's too good to speak, like he has waitresses for that. It's gross, and you can tell his front of the house workers can feel his negativity because they aren't overly friendly either. I get we all have bad days, but for the last 6x I've been in, he's very unpleasant.“

“I have to say, I called Saturday for a birthday party I had going on for Sunday. The coordinator for catering, Jeff was absolutely fantastic. He asked all of the perfect questions and worked with the menu to ensure we were getting a fair price for a great amount of food. He took initiative and was pleasant to speak to. Everyone loved the food and the variety and even took trays home! La has always been one of my favorites, but this experience with Jeff was extraordinary.

“Family Owned!! Opened 1980!! Our server was one of the Son's who had worked there since he was 10 yrs old. The Dad and other son cooking, the Mom seating guests! Waiters in Tuxedos!! The food, WOW, the food was AHHMAZING!! The absolute BEST Minestrone soup I have EVER had!! And as simple as a dinner salad is, it was so very good!! High End restaurant!! “Oh MAN Rocco's is the place I have searched for in vain until last year when I tried them for the first time. Since that first meatball sub I have had almost every sandwich on the menu and so far not one has disappointed! Today I had the Corner Deli and was transported to Italian paradiso! In case you non-Italians did not know, ciabatta is the Italian baguette and Rocco's bakes many fresh loaves several times per day! Usually it is still warm from the oven even if you get a cold sandwich! There is no better sandwich bread in my progenic-Italian opinion! They are in Midtown on Cass just East of Mack. Try them if you have yet to do so. You will thank the gods!“

“What can I day about Cork & Gable? We love the place. The staff is always friendly and make you feel like VIPs. The drinks are some of, if not thee, best drinks in town! They consistently have rotating bourbons that are difficult to find and reasonable prices as well. The food is great, too! Fish and Chips are a staple here, but the specials are always amazing. If Arctic Char is on the menu...get it! We have been going here for years and will continue to come back for the many reasons above. A must try, in my book.“

“Sept 2024 - It's rare for me to give this high of a rating because I have high quality standards, but this place deserves it; this was my first time ordering from here; the pizza I ordered was perfectly made as I ordered; its a shame, but that's a rarity these days; customer service is just not a priority for many places, even to just take a simple phone pizza order request and making it to order specificity, but they did great! I ordered multiple items on my pizza with extra sauce; it came out perfectly and was delicious; after ordering pizza from various places in western metro detroit, I think I just found my go to pizza place; def one of the best pizzas I've had in a long time; they will def cont to have my business. I only gave 4 stars on the atmosphere because I ordered carryout, but I went in and picked it up and it seemed like a nice quaint little Italian restaurant with nice Italian music playing, kind of old school like, but I really like that classic setting; I may have given 5 stars if dined in and had a pleasant experience“

“generally excellent food and service. just one complaint. prices are a little heavy, somewhat fair, but NOTHING extra comes with the basic meal. might have been a slip up by the server, but we weren't even offered BREAD so I'm thinking that was extra too. but c'mon guys, this is an Italian Restaurant. “Yesterday was a hard day for my family as we laid my step-dad (Larry) to rest. The whole family and friends showed up. Tears were shed, memories were shared. Dinner was great. We went to Baldos and they made the whole experience enjoyable. From the servers to bus boys. Drinks were constantly refilled. Table was constantly cleared. Food was delicious!
