“First, I'm in no way affiliated with the Milan McDonald's or any of its employees. I realize that the Milan McDonald's, along with many others, has been plagued over the past several years with employee shortages. This has certainly contributed to patron dissatisfaction, especially at certain times of the day. Unfortunately, the employees that do show up for work frequently receive undeserved criticism and even become the targets of insults and profanity. Although no employee of any company is perfect, those that are responsible enough to show up for work and offer a service should at least receive some credit for doing so. However, despite employee shortages, I believe the McDonald's and Milan Michigan is above average in many respects. This is the only restaurant that I patronize over 250 mornings a year on average. And there's a reason for that. Although the food may not always be as fresh as desired, the employees are always willing to exchange or somehow compensate the patron when asked to do so. For " regulars" like me, the staff typically goes the second mile to make sure that my order is correct and fresh. Sometimes they throw in a special perk, such as a free soft drink if the wait is abnormally long. Or allowing me to have free syrup even when my order did not include hot cakes. Although it's impossible to list all of the morning managers and employees by name, I extend well-deserved kudos to Casey, Amanda, Lisa, Shannon, Cheyenne, Kayla, Katie, Faith, Damien, Allison, Lily, Lindsey, Vicky, Ryan and others. All of these (and others) deserve far more credit than they get. Which is why I plan to patronize the Milan McDonald's for years to come. May God bless every employee at the Milan McDonald's.”

“It's never bad. It never blows my mind. There isn't much alcohol in there but drinks are cheap and it's good for a quick meal. The quality is always just okay. Service is usually always pretty good which is why I decided on 4 stars.

My only warning is full size salads are complete ripoffs. Salad on the left was $3 with a meal. Salad on the right is $16. Granted, one has chicken but they both legitimately had the exact same amount of lettuce, if not a bit less in the chicken one. I called to ask if they accidentally did a side salad for both. Nope. The manager says she is the one who packed it and saw absolutely nothing wrong with the value here and confirmed it was correct. Gotcha. It was the last full size salad ever ordered there for us.

Its a notch better than fast food for sure but I much prefer Social House for quality. Its more worth it when they run promotions and offer coupons for sure.”

“If you haven’t been here and you enjoy good beer. You need to come here. They make the best beers in all of the lower peninsula. I’m a craft beer guy and I have made it a point to visit every small brewery that I can while out and about in our great state. Mothfire Brewing is by far one of the best breweries I’ve ever been to. The staff is amazing and the beer is excellent. Stop in, you won’t regret it.”

“The food is incredible, but I recently dined there and paid with credit card, which I will never do again. What I was charged with on my bank statement was quite a bit higher. They bring the machine to the table to pay, and I left 0 tip on credit because I like to leave cash. The ending credit card amount was like I left a 20 percent tip on card. I have no receipt, because when they bring the machine to the table it doesn’t spit out one. Lesson learned.”

“I had a turkey sausage, egg, and cheese bagel sandwich. It was toasty and warm and flavorful. My iced raspberry mocha with oat milk was perfectly made and really hit the spot! The owner was so kind and helpful and even let me know they have curbside service. I will be going back again very soon!”

“First visit in years..not so great in the past. Well, now I can attest the quality of every thing that makes an outstanding food experience exists at Mac's! My server Aly was top notch as well..I ordered a classic burger and fries,bread pudding,( which I never liked until I had theirs) and a Moscow mule. When she returned with my items, I felt like I was in a Michelin restaurant. Burger ( rich meaty flavorful, delicious) med/ rare was perfection..fries, ( ditto..service.. impeccable.I walked out feeling like a queen. ( I am a private chef of 50 years and particular about food.) Well done Mac's! 5 +stars!”
