“My husband ordered a Pumpkin spice cappuccino that he was obsessed with. He said it was very rich and tasty. I got a salt bagel with chive cream cheese and I didn’t ask but the bagel tasted home made it was so good!! The cream cheese was really good too. We will be back!“
“I’m gluten and dairy free and was visiting flint for a conference. I went to Flint Crepe Co. expecting to just sit with my friends, and was overjoyed when I saw the sign that they’d be able to make some crepes both gluten and dairy free. I was even more impressed when they offered to make my crepe with separate utensils — I didn’t even have to ask!! Great environment, cool artwork, amazing staff, delicious food, especially for those of us with dietary restrictions. “I walked 1/2 mile to this restaurant, and it was worth it. When I entered, everyone was happy, employees and customers alike.Their coffee was among the best I've had. This is from one that drinks his coffee black! I kept things simple with oatmeal, which had cinnamon and pecans that heaped over the top of the bowl! The oatmeal was the perfect temperature to eat immediately. I've never had oatmeal served that perfectly.I left happy that I had been there“

“I haven't actually tried any of their food but I have been here multiple times to meet with friends, talk and drink. The last few times I have had the blackberry and raspberry flavored ice tea. I like it and it's reasonably priced. The atmosphere is great for hanging out and a lot of times they play good music. The cashier was friendly.“

“This is a post-worst-of-the-pandemic review. The Good Beans Cafe has survived. I'm sure it wasn't easy but it is open again. I think the owner would like you to know that it is OPEN (I'm writing this Nov. 12, 2022) and that the HOURS ARE MWF from 10 - 2 and people will need to wait for more staffing for more extended hours. So I hadn't been here (I don't live in the area) since before the pandemic closure and I cannot tell you how grand it was to stop for a cappuccino and see people talking and enjoying their coffee at the Good Beans again. For those who don't know, the drinks are extraordinary, the owner friendly and gracious, the atmosphere just fantastic -- it's a terrific funky coffee shop that would also be right at home in Ann Arbor, for instance. It's got its own vibe (obviously generated by the owner) that is still intact, too, like every excellent indie coffee shop. There's enough dedicated parking. My friend and I sat there probably a good 90 minutes catching up and enjoyed ourselves.I highly recommend this place and hope folks can find the time to rejoin life at the Good Beans even without full hours yet. “Laid back atmosphere, friendly employees, good coffee/tea.. We've stopped in a handful of times when in the cultural area (my old neighborhood) and found it to be very lovely..great atmosphere, good coffee and pastry, nice vibe, good prices, great service, decent location.. My husband and I particularly enjoyed the attentive service, the friendly dog that hangs out (it belongs to the owners, I believe), and terrific pour over coffee. Now that Flint Foster is closed and Good Beans operates on only limited boutique hours (ugh), we'll make Dorothy's more a local hangout..“
“The absolute best coffee place around! The best staff, especially the morning shift! I go in every morning, I'm greeted, and I've been going long enough that everyone knows my order.Quintin is by far the best employee there, always striking up a conversation, asks how I'm doing, etc. Don't get me wrong, I love all the staff, but he's definitely my favorite person there.There may be times that they're busy, it's a coffee place. A lot of people love coffee. “I tried the veggie wrap today and was positively surprised. Very good, lots of flavor. Recently, I tried the veggie wrap at Steady Eddie's at the Flint Farmers Market and the Palette Cafe is far better, hands down. Less expensive, as well. Kudos to the great staff at the FIA's Palette Cafe!“
