“We stopped on the way home from Frankenmuth. We always stop when on trips up north. Today was HIGHLY disappointing. I ordered a corned beef sandwich. The bottom bread was soaked, I’m guessing someone didn’t drain the sauerkraut. I pointed it out. Instead of taking the plate to the kitchen to remake the sandwich she went to get a new bun. About 15 minutes later. I said EXCUSE ME , she said she’s waiting for them to make it ?? It wasn’t toasted or anything what’s to make ?? Still waiting…she brought me a piece of bun. Now the cheese is cold all in a clump and I had to make my own sandwich. I could have done that at home. I have NEVER not tipped until today. Most was brought home so I can warm it up and make it properly. I didn’t hit DO NOT RECOMMEND only because over 16 years this was the first incident. The waitresses handling of it was very poor !! And it wasn’t busy what so ever.“

“waited too long in drive thru, hot my order wrong, refused to show us the receipt, ordered extra fries as a side and just got the normal amount but charged for double, charged us different prices than was on the menu not just a dollar like tax either it was a lot more , when asked to give us the items messed up or missing from orser extremely rude old waiter with a mask (only person wearing a mask, take a hint lady)and wrinkles she wore at us and tried to charge us 7 more dollars then threw our money at us and told us not to come back ....dony worry we wont your food ain't that good, we come there out of convenience not prices or taste...we will make the drive to starlight from now on“

“This place has good food and the waitresses are kind and courteous. The only thing I don't like or understand is why they can't do separate orders when you're going through the drive-thru. Any other fast food place or even the other starlite on Court Street can do separate orders for each person in the vehicle but this place can't. Your total bill has to be on one bill. It doesn't make sense to me. My friends would rather get out of the car and go in and order instead of having to figure out who owes what. It's a waste of time.“

“My daughter and grand kids took me to Dom's Diner for "Mother's Day" on Sunday, May 11, 2025. Everyone's food was great. My daughter had fish and fries, one of the grand kids had the alfredo with shrimp and chicken. My other grand son had chicken and fries. The youngest had mickey mouse pancakes with bacon. It was the first time I tried chicken and waffles, they were delicious. The waitress went above and beyond, and you can't find this time of service everywhere..“

“We have eaten here many times with no issues. Today we showed up at roughly 4:30. We were promptly seated with no issues. As we sat with no acknowledgement from the wait staff, we watched 5 other couples be seated, greeted, and orders taken. After 15 plus minutes of sitting without being waited on, we got up and left. A really poor experience.

Edit::: I believe in second chances and being fair with my reviews. After my previous negative review we decided to give them another chance. I do enjoy the all you can eat wings. Today we were immediately seated and greeted by our waitress. The food was excellent and Rachael, our waitress, she was extremely friendly.

“I haven't been to Sagano in years since it was sold, but definitely idea to try them out again. Sushi was decent, the crab soup was decent, but the dumpling soup was oversalted (the chicken base probably sat in the hotwell too long and got too concentrated through evaporation). Hopefully it was just a fluke. Our visit was on a Saturday around 7pm (surpringly it wasn't busy at all) - we will be back because this used to be one of my weekly visits and miss their food and service.“

Other big boys stopped after Covid and never continued. The one in Grand Blanc Failed and is now closed. “I placed excellent job. The same order was placed June6, 2023 and again June 8, 2023. One order June 6th was superb. The order and chef did an excellent job. Time of order 11:08 A.M. On June 8th the time of the order was 12:53 P.M. The brisket was not tender the chef was stingy on the chicken, all in all the package was not worth $49.82 Whoever the chef was June 6th give him a raise. I cannot say the same for the order Feast for Two for the chef that served it.“
