“What a great lunch spot his turned out to be! This small, old-school dining spot was nothing fancy…but the counter-only seating within the place brought forth visions of east coast diners. The staff all were incredibly friendly / busy / working incredibly hard. The menu is basic….a couple of options outside of a burger…but, yes, some great burger options! Nothing healthy here at all, lol…but the burgers were fantastic, and reasonably priced. The small lot and place fills up quickly during lunch, so plan on getting there early during lunch, or you’ll have a little bit of wait. This was a great find.”

“This is the best ice cream anywhere. And I even am comparing it to other Dairy Queen's. They serve the ice cream at the correct temperature. A lot of places don't know how to keep track of the temperature that the ice cream should be. Always so creamy. Some ice cream is too cold believe it or not.”

“China King is (IMHO) the best Chinese restaurant in Jackson. The food is high quality with generous portions. Service is quick, friendly, and efficient. I live on the opposite side of town, and I passed two other Chinese restaurants on my way to China King.The food is well worth the drive. One caveat, I wouldn't say it has a good dining atmosphere. It is clean, but not set as a place I would take a friend to dine in.

Parking: Convient free parking with ample size parking lot.”

“I always treat myself to a late lunch on my way home from my Chelsea Hospital appts. My favorite is their pulled pork sandwich with french fries. Their portions are large. I take half home for another tasty meal. Missy comes out and visits with the customers which makes it a friendly and comfortable place to dine. I make this my place to eat on my way home to Jackson.”

“It’s got that backwoods party store vibe, kind of a little bit of everything packed into one spot. There’s also a small kitchen tucked inside, and from the sounds of it, breakfast is one of their big draws. The staff is friendly, the place is clean, and overall it’s a solid stop if you need something. And if they don’t have it, they’ll probably point you right to where you can find it nearby.”
