“We used to love Brooklyn Bagels other than the occasional we don't have any bagels (Odd since that's literally in the name) but within the last 6 months they have gone downhill. We have visited 2 of the locations and had the same results. Long waits, Chai used to be amazing, is now watery. No one seems to be managing the location we've been too, just a bunch of teens trying to figure it out. Currently at the Apple location and have waited 20 minutes for 2 bagels with minimal other customers. We try to support local but will need to move on from this local business. Too many chances given.”

“We love this place for a laid back date night! Cheap drinks, and I love the pollock! I would not recommend the queso or jalapeño poppers, but everything else has been delicious!”

“When I go to this location in the morning (I don’t go later in the day as much), they get through the line fast! Christopher is usually taking my order and he is polite and thorough! The food is always hot and quick. I usually don’t go inside, so I can’t really rate atmosphere.”

“We came in with some very hungry worked up children from the beach and the staff was absolutely awesome with them. Very patient with us and helped us with our daughters picky order. Very kind staff and the food was good as well. Highly recommend”

“first time experience that burger was the beat ive had perfectly cooked condiments fresh cheese rich and smooth not greasy or anything the fries were small and stringy not usually how i like em but they are now perfectly cooked not a single burnt one the mikey sauce was smooth and a good addition to the fries they checked on us and asked how our meal was and i reqlly appreciated the hospitality”

“Great destination for a family evening outside. Loved the outdoor seating in the back, complete with picnic tables, shade trees, a playground and a bags game. Yes, the portions are huge, but I would have preferred for the ice cream to be unique and not Hudsonville brand, which you can find at grocery stores. Also, they really need to up their napkin game considering the amount of dripping that ice cream cones do in the summer. We had to get real napkins out of our car because their thin, tiny napkins just weren't cutting it. But overall, we were really happy we found this place because it was more than just an ice cream run—it was a family experience.”

Not only was she hands on our waitress was very instrumental on helping us decide on what to eat. If you ever go to Muskegon or if your passing by please stop you will not be disappointed. “Had an awesome time Saturday, 3-1-25. Haven't been back to Herbie's in almost 20 years. Had a waitress that actually remembered my mother my father from when we used to meet there with our youngest daughter. Waitress and I apologize I forgot your name, you were outstanding, caring, and bubbly. She's been a waitress there for 25 years. A lot of the wait staff and staff had tie dye shirts with a logo on the back. Those were cute. Had the steak and eggs, American fries, Texas toast, coffee. Everything was excellent. The wife had standard two eggs bacon and toast. They've had to recently upcharge $0.50 per egg, like a lot of restaurants are because of the new price increase with the bird flu. Still, excellent money for the value that we got. Plenty of portions. Will try to go back soon, hopefully not as long as 20 years. The decor is quaint with airplane memorabilia hanging from the ceilings the walls and posters. Don home folk down home food downhome good time down home great value.”
