“I'm not from MI, but I'm staying for a week and was looking for vegan places to eat. I stumbled upon Veg-N and gave it a try. There is no dine-in so do keep that in mind. I just placed our order on their website, and within 15m it was ready! Pulled up to the drive-thru and was met with lovely customer service. We were offered on the house cookies and oh my they were amazing. Got home and unpacked the food to find little peppermints and handwipes in the bag!! I finished my Reuben in 5 minutes it was so good, the patty was soft and juicy and the kraut was perfect. The chili fries were great too - maybe a little sweet for me, but my friend said they were just right for her. Only thing I could ask for would be glaze on the cinnamon roll but I didn't expect any. Just wishful thinking. Overall, great place. The people seem lovely, the food came out fast, and it tasted amazing. I'm only here for a few more days but I will definitely be back, it was just that good. If you like burgers, fries, cookies, or cinnamon rolls you need to check this place out - vegan or not you will love it.”

“Our first visit to Pho 777 was exceptional! We found this place online, wanting to try someplace new. We started with two different types of spring rolls with peanut sauce. The peanut sauce was some of the best I’ve had. The entrees came out at the perfect time - I had Steak Pho and Mark had the Spicy Pork and Beef. The flavors - so many, a true flavor explosion! There was nothing disappointing about either one! Service was great and the food was top notch. We will be back!”

“I got the pho here and it was literally the best thing I’ve ever tasted in my life. It was the #23 pho. Also the service was great, very direct and to the point. We also got the shrimp spring rolls and they were so good as long as you put siracha in the sauce and dip it. Also the bon mi sandwiches are BOMB. Anyway this place is literally so good. And relatively cheap!!”

I would give the head chef my life savings for those recipes! The cornbread is out of this world. The jerk & curry chicken is impeccable. The lord has truly blessed Ms chef at Chars. “I want to thank Terry at the Okemos, MI store for saving our family Christmas! I got there ten minutes after the store closed and I was devastated. I got on my phone to check their hours. To my surprise, someone answered the phone! When he found out I was in the parking lot, Terry came and let me in so that I could buy the ham for our party. He had to turn the lights on and reopen the register, but was nothing but friendly and cheerful! Many employees wouldn't have even answered the phone, but Terry went above and beyond. Thank you for making our family party meal a success! (By the way, the ham was absolutely delicious!)”

“My gf and I went here all the time during the last two years of our time at MSU. Chicken teriyaki is just over $10 after tax before tip and gives a lot of food. They do offer double meat but unless you're really hungry/want a full sized meal as leftovers, I suggest sticking with a single portion. The employees are nice and the food is always fast. Genuinely some of the best chicken teriyaki I've ever had. I'll miss it now that I've graduated.”

“Jersey Giant Okemos went above and beyond to help me fix a large sub order I mistakenly placed for the wrong date and time. As it was my own error and the timeline was really tight, they were under absolutely no obligation to help me fix it, but they did and were incredibly kind about the whole ordeal. They were courteous, understanding and the subs were fantastic! So thankful for their top notch customer service and will definitely be back!”

“This is a little more of a take out restaurant. There is only one table to sit at. We hadn't seen this restaurant advertised, just stopped in because we wanted Chinese. The menu is huge, the cook came out and asked if we needed anything and made sure we were happy with our purchase. I had the sweet and sour chicken, my husband had shrimp Lo Mein. The dishes were excellent. This is definitely a restaurant that we will go to again.”

“The Chapbook Cafe is such a cozy spot! The food and drinks are delicious; my personal favorite order is a hot chai latte with a scone! As an added bonus, the employees are friendly and quick to whip up your order! 11/10, would recommend.”

“Please check your orders before you taste. They mixed up our order and gave my daughter a peanut butter smoothie instead of the Sunrise sunset that we ordered. She is highly allergic to peanuts and tree nuts. She took a drink and immediately spit it out. Hoping we don’t end up in the hospital tonight.”

“We stopped to get coffee on the way out of town and a donuts for our daughter who was sad about having to leave. Finn took our order and quickly changed the whole mood of our car. It went from sad and stressed to light-hearted and happy. He went above and beyond for all of us and gave us customer service that is rarely given anymore. Our coffees and donuts were perfect as well. If you are looking for great coffee and amazing customer service this is the place and Finn is your guy!”
