“Ordered a cake from here, prices are higher than your Walmart cake but for good reason, everyone who had a piece was raving about how amazing it was! I mean, amazing, delicious, fork-stabbing worth cake. So worth the price? 100% yes. I paid like, $7 to have it delivered 20 minutes away. What a nice option they provide. They also sell them at my work occasionally, all the staff runs down to the lobby for these cakes. Just bravo, well done business 👏“

“This is the best cheesecake I’ve ever had. I’ve tried many varieties including strawberry, turtle, cookies and cream, sweet potato, lemon, lime, and my favorite: orange. They have all been consistently delicious and the texture is perfect! The only critique I can offer is to consider exploring ways to avoid adding Red 40 dye for coloring. I would love to see something more natural used, especially for the orange variety. I would also love to have a place to sit down in the store to enjoy the amazing cheesecake right there with a friend. Definitely try this place - it will change how you feel about cheesecake forever!“

“I stopped in for the first time to treat myself for my bday because one of my friends recommended this place. The owners were so nice, the store had a nice relaxing feeling and everything in the cases looked fresh, pretty & delicious. I bought a few things which included a lemon pound cake cookie and wow it has to be one of the best lemon cookies I’ve ever had! I’m glad I stopped in and recommend you stop in sometime too. I’ll definitely be back to try some more of their treats. Thank you for the great service and yummy sweets!“

“Friends of mine brought the pecan pie and an assortment of muffins for a birthday dinner and this pecan pie was so amazing I had to leave a review! It’s a sure rival to the famous Zingerman’s pecan pie in Ann Arbor. TBH I think I love sweetie licious better! It was softer and more creamy somehow with a maple or Carmel taste to it in the after taste.My mouth is literally watering thinking about it now!!! 😋 🤤 🔥 The muffins were outstanding too, but the star of the night was that pie!!!“

“Dear Mitten Raised Bakery, Catering/Wedding - We worked with Katie to cater/deliver 160 cupcakes and a 8" cake for our wedding. We would 150% recommend Mitten Raised! Katie (owner) was amazing from the moment I inquired about her services (about 6 months prior) to when she delivered them with her team. We ended up getting strawberry shortcake and lemon drops in a cake cup, and shoreline and a marbled decorative cupcakes, They were all delicious and our guests are still raving about them. We also ordered a simple white cake for us to cut, and honestly it was one of my favorites - it was just the right amount of sweetness, flavor, and texture! Katie was also very responsive and sweet throughout multiple emails. I had to change the count and flavors multiple times, and she responded instantly and always in a friendly manner. We've also been into Mitten Raised for separate sweet-treat occasions, and it never disappoints! Please consider catering through Mitten Raised! We love their baked goods, professionality, and if we were to ever have a large event again - I would book them in a heartbeat.“

“Wow I was just on this side of town and I asked Siri “coffee near me” she gave bigby and then this place. Let me tell you I don’t regret choosing here. Ambiance 10/10 calm relaxing chill. I’d come here to finish up work and have coffee any day. DONT GET ME STARTED ON THE ASIAGO BAGEL. Fun fact. One of the workers sisters I’m assuming she’s the owner said her sister learned baking in England and uses that for the IN HOUSE MADE PASTRIES AND BAGELS. When I say light and airy and absolute perfection. I will be back … it’s kind of far from me but I will come back for that bagel alone!!! But everything else is amazing as well. And they don’t skimp on the cream cheese!! Also super friendly staff! 10/10“

“I’ve been a resident in the nursing home on the corner and my window faces Groovy Donuts. Lo and behold I had a visitor this morning who stopped and got us a half dozen. All of the donuts were so fresh and moist. Hopefully I will be able to come back when I leave here. Great job!!!!!“

“I stopped in for the first time on Saturday afternoon. I bought two loaves of bread (cinnamon swirl & espresso chocolate chip) and two goodies - a peanut butter cookie and an almondine - I should NOT have done that, I should not have bought just one, I should have bought them ALL! They were amazing. The cookie and the breads are also fabulous! The cinnamon swirl makes AMAZING French toast! The owner gave me a tip of putting it in the freezer for about 15 minutes before slicing it and THEN making the French toast. It worked fantastically and it was SO good! The espresso chocolate chip just takes about 15 seconds in the microwave before you spread butter on it and eat it with your coffee.I don’t know why I have never stopped in here before, but now, this is where I will get my specialty breads. Unlike other places, he isn’t raising his prices through the roof, he is keeping the costs low for the customers. I also learned that all of the bread is made fresh each night and whatever doesn’t sell is donated to different organizations. This owner is someone that cares about his community and his customers and that was so refreshing to hear. It was great talking with him and the other employee that was there, I walked out of there feeling happy and excited to 1) try all my goodies, and 2) feeling like I had found a new treasure.I definitely recommend Breadsmith and will be going back as soon as we finish the what we have!“
