“I haven’t been here in years. My girlfriend was craving some bbq and we decided to venture 18 minutes across town to head here. Mlk was closed so we had to drive through genesse neighborhood, but was it worth it. I don’t like to take pictures of peoples food cause it doesn’t usually do it justice when you find good food. Kayla and our kid shared a pound of brisket and baked Mac and cheese and macaroni salad. Hands down the best brisket that I’ve had in the area and the macaroni salad was insane. My kid said it was the best he’s ever eaten. As for me I opted for a chicken banh mi, everything was fresh and just what I wanted on top of the chicken being excellent on an excellent roll. We sat there with linh and talked about food as I also am in the industry about how her store used to be a phone store and me doing breakfast in the food truck. I highly recommend this place, she works by herself and cares so much about the food. Just like I do. It’s great to find another person and place like this“

“We have hosted two family bridal showers in the last 6 months. Both were wonderful experiences working with the supportive staff to ensure the showers were a magical experience for both brides. The staff was easy to work with, accommodating various requests, offering restaurant decorations and attentive during the entire event. Not only was the staff a pleasure to work with, the food was outstanding! We will host another bridal shower as soon as we have another engagement in the family!“

“I'm a truck driver who was delivering a load in the area and craving ramen. So, I found this place and ordered via Uber Eats. Let me start off by saying that the food is absolutely phenomenal. Everything tasted high quality and fresh. The food was packaged carefully. The broth for my spicy ramen didn't even leak! I also ordered the wontons in chili oil, which, again, were very fresh. The skin was thin, too, so it wasn't too doughy— just the perfect bite. My co-driver ordered the stir-fried udon with beef and enjoyed it immensely.

Now, onto the not-so-great details: this place is not very affordable with its high prices. It's the kind of restaurant you go to to Treat Yourself(TM). As delicious as it was, the spicy ramen came out to a whopping $39 with added toppings. Now, of course, it was my decision to add those toppings, so I'm not TOO hung up on that (mainly because I'm still trying to convince myself that the quality and taste at least made it worth a shot). But, nowhere on the menu or website does it describe what the ramen already comes with (no picture either), so it was either: 1) order and hope it comes with the usual toppings; or 2) ensure it has toppings by adding it myself. Normally, I would have no issue doing that, but keep in mind that the toppings range from $2.99 - $4.99 each. I think this restaurant could include more detailed descriptions for its dishes, and not just for the ramen. The item descriptions have VERY few words to begin with.

Moving on from the ramen itself, the prices for everything else I ordered were pretty high for the portion received. The scallion pancake was $11.95, but it only came with a single pancake. Usually, at that price, you'd get way more. The takoyaki was $10.95 with only 4 balls, and the signature sausage was $13.95 for what I'm pretty sure was only one sliced-up sausage. All were VERY good (the takoyaki was just okay), but the prices kind of killed it for us. Again, we're just sort of in a state of denial trying to convince ourselves it was worth it, because there is ZERO doubt that the food was amazing.

All things considered, I would come here again, but definitely only during a Treat Yourself(TM) day. Maybe next time, we'll try sitting in!“

“Went into REO Town to get a late lunch at Good Truckin’ Diner. But, apparently open til 3 doesn’t mean taking orders til 3. So we went down to Saddleback BBQ and we had zero regrets! When we walked in, the staff was very friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate my senior citizen mother. The pulled pork sandwiches were delicious and the service was excellent. I highly recommend!“

“I took my mom to the Edgewood Blvd Lansing one yesterday 5.10.24 at 4:15 pm and the food was fabulous. Better than it ever has been. I haven't ever complained about their food and last night was no different, but whatever they did it was all cooked way above perfection. I have not gone anywhere that I can remember and had such an amazing meal as last nights. I usually save some to take home to the hubby, but not this time. I ate it all except a dog scrap piece 😆(that's what the waitress called it). I got the 6oz sirloin (med well) and ribs & mom got the sirloin and shrimp. The ribs were extremely tender and the sirloin was so juicy and perfect. The ribs are always delicious, but will still have just a touch of dryness to them. Last night the meat was flaky and fell off the bone with barely a touch. The service was excellent too. I can't remember our waitresses name, but very friendly and right on top of it.
