“Hands down the absolute best bakery! We used Berts for my daughter's wedding a month ago and we did a cake on each table instead of one big cake (we had many different food allergies.). everyone is still raving about the cakes! They were absolutely fabulous and the workmanship of Amy the owner, attention to detail and just the professionalism she showed was incredible. We were so happy with our choice. Do not hesitate to use Berts! Thank you Amy“

“Food is delicious, takeout orders frequently wrong. This is the best food in Kalamazoo, but they’ve gotten my takeout order wrong five times in just 2025. This is nothing new for this place as I’ve been coming since 2013 and I’ve had so many mix ups. The workers are polite and friendly, and everything is always delicious. Would recommend you eat in person.“

“The food was excellent and filling. We had a newer waitress but she was excellent and we liked her. I split my meal with another person in our party and we still had plenty. We had a large table in a corner by the window. I had such a generous portion of hashbrowns and I was so happy with it. It's was reasonably priced for the amount of food you get.“

“We stopped at the Summer Thyme Cafe for lunch on our way to Lake Michigan. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting with little booths and tables for dining in. The menu has a great variety of salads and sandwiches, so it was hard to decide what to order! I chose the Chicken Pecan salad, and it was delicious. Everything was so fresh; the serving size was generous but not overwhelming. My husband had the Cobb salad, and it was very good too. Our server was pleasant and attentive. The cafe is conveniently located about 0.5 miles from the highway-easy on/easy off. I would definitely recommend this cute little cafe for lunch and look forward to stopping there again when I'm passing through Kalamazoo. PS-the desserts looked amazing! Fresh pies,cake, bars etc. [We're trying to avoid sweets so we didn't partake-but it was tempting].
Vegetarian options: You can get salads without the protein.“

“Met the owner through my retail workplace. Got to talking about his restaurant and how I’d never tried it since not being from the area, amongst other things. This man brought lunch back to us and the pizza was PHENOMENAL!!! Thank you again sir!!! Bbq Chicken pizza is highly recommended, minus the pineapple (unless you’re into that sort of thing!) lol“

“Extremely disappointed! Just stopped at Tiffany’s at 8:15Am on Sunday, walked in the door and restaurant was 1/2 full with no wait! As soon as we walked in manager and 2 staff immediately left to the kitchen with no acknowledgment. 5 min later hostess came to us and said there was a wait in the kitchen of 5-10 min and would not seat us! There were several open tables so why not at least seat us?“

“My husband and I went for lunch on Valentine’s Day we love Red Robin’s food is always great our server Diamond Was an excellent waitress very attentive made sure we had refills made also made sure we were happy with our food the only complaint I have is that the supervisors were just standing around never table touched I think table touching is very important for a manager/ supervisor especially on a holiday other than that excellent experience“

“I just had the Frosty Boy truck come out to celebrate the end of the school year with a group of 8th graders and everything was perfect! Great food, wonderful staff and very well organized! I will definitely be using Frosty Boy for future parties! Thank you for an awesome experience!“
“Create store with many more health centric options. It's no Earth Fare, but since they aren't around here anymore it's a very good alternative.
I think if they had a small deli counter and did healthy smoothies they would do very well here.“

“First time customer and was very surprised that Bert's Bakery - Comstock had so many non food items. There is a big assortment of candles, puzzles, cards, figurines and more! I was expecting a bakery only so the additional items were a bonus. The woman running the business was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely return!As for the bakery, I ordered a vanilla cake slice with coconut cream. Delicious! There was a nice selection of cake slices and I think three different types of cookies to choose from. That was all I saw. Don't know if they serve drinks or anything else.“

“Went for my birthday and the Nintendo event. Loved the ice cream and the staff were troopers. They had to deal with a Karen who was talk down to them. They stayed calm and professional, and made sure her bad attitude did not bring anyone else down. I applaud ya'll ? ??“
