Panera Bread in Petoskey receives mixed feedback. The food is praised, with specific mention of the "best green goddess salad," "amazing" Autumn Squash Soup, and an excellent "Aisiago sausage egg sandwich on a ciabatta bun." The bakery items and cold tea are also loved. However, the chili was described as worse than canned chili, and a BLT with no mayo still came with mayo. The restaurant itself is tiny, and drinks have too much ice. The sip club is decent, but it is frustrating that not all beverages are available, and there is a two-hour wait between drinks. Service is a mixed bag. Some staff are hospitable and go above and beyond, like Barbara and a nice manager. However, one staff member named Jade made a sip club member feel watched and treated like they were doing something wrong, despite using the app correctly. Orders being messed up is common, and service can be slow. Prices are considered too expensive, with one meal costing over twenty dollars. Cleanliness is great, and the self-serve coffee machine is easy to use. Overall, it is a fine place to go back for soup, but not for chili.
