“I tried their pizza challenge. It was fun. The gluten-free pizza was good, too.

- Pizza 28” Challenge - $35: Super thin, but soft and fairly good.

The crust was dry, tough, chewy and was fairly plain. The pizza was easy, but the crust was very hard. I saved the crust for last (a tactic I learned from another competitor), but in this case, I think you need to eat the crust along the way so you don’t get tired of chewing it all at the end. Break it up.

I failed by one slice and almost all the crust I saved for the end. It sounds like the challenge is undefeated currently. Someone has to beat it. It is well within the possibility compared to other challenges out there. Though it is 28” and that sounds huge (it is huge), it is actually thin enough that it is still very much possible for those who train for it.

I’d have to guess it is 4 pounds. I weighed it at 3.5 pounds, but we couldn’t get it to balance well enough to take our hands off of it to get an accurate measurement. 28” is huge!!!

- Pizza 9” - $: Fits on a plate. My daughter ate it and reported it was good. The crust was plain.

- Cauliflower Pizza 12” - $: Except for the amount of cheese, it would have been my daughter’s new favorite gluten-free pizza.

- Service: Super helpful and cheerful. She was new, but it didn’t show at all. She was very proficient and amazing!

- Atmosphere: Clean. A bit on the darker side, but not bad. There is a higher ceiling and voices probably carry very easily. We didn’t experience that too much since we stopped by during a slow time.

- Conclusion: I’d certainly recommend this place for many reasons including the cheerful staff.

“Five stars! We ended a week of camping with a vehicle delay on our way home and stopped for lunch at Big Bob’s while my husband took the truck to get fixed. First of all, the food was amazing (our son said the deep dish was better than Giordano’s). But more importantly, Rob and his staff took were beyond hospitable to our 3 kids and I as we spent the next 5 hours utilizing their Uno cards, Connect Four and enjoying their complementary popcorn. If you’re ever in the Grand Rapids area we highly recommend giving them a try. We’ll definitely be back next time we come through Grand Rapids.“

“I got delivery and they delivered it just how I asked. The pizza was very good. The only issue was that I ordered 1/2 and 1/2 and it was more like 3/4 and 1/4. Which for most people it wouldn't be a big deal but if you have super picky eaters or someone allergic to an item that could be an issue. The pizza was good and so was delivery so I will order from them again“

“The pizza is always great here. I love a crispy brick oven pizza. So, this time I decided to try something different. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs for dining in, and the grilled chicken sliders and a regular kids’ cheese pizza to go. The spaghetti was perhaps just a difference of preference for taste. To me the sauce was too sweet and thin/watery. There also was no shaved Parmesan or basil, which the menu says are part of the dish. So, pasta portion was just really lacking in any flavor. However, the meatballs have amazing flavor! I’d eat them every day. The grilled chicken sliders were extremely disappointing. They each had maybe a bite and a half of chicken in a small strip. As you can see from the picture, one really had less than a bite. The sauce that was supposed to be on the sandwiches was missing. Just disappointing overall. The service was great, the restaurant is clean and comfortable, drinks were nice, and the pizza did not disappoint as per usual. I’ll stick to the pizza, cheese bread and bruschetta moving forward…they’re always great!“

“My wife and enjoyed our 55th anniversary with dinner at Amore'. Chef Jenna visited every table in our area and asked about every course we ordered. This is by far the best restaurant in the Grand Rapids area: we ordered the 5 course Chef's menu and each had something different from appetizers through desserts so we could taste all. From the waiter, the live music, our beverages, and Jenna's attention paid to all, the best meal ever.“

“We went to this Cottage Inn because we haven’t had it since college. It is such a cute restaurant. The man who waited on us was so friendly and patient while we figured out what we wanted. The food was made fresh while we waited and it was done very quickly. The pizza was amazing and the breadsticks came with a garlic cream cheese sauce that was incredible! I have been upset and/or mad at work but I would never let my customers see it, I would still smile and act like nothing was wrong because I don't want the customers to see that. “I really wanted to love our visit because we’ve had such great experiences at the other Flo's locations, but this time was just okay. On the positive side, the staff here are incredibly friendly and welcoming! They greeted us right away and made the pickup process easy.
The pizza itself had great flavor—the sauce is definitely a highlight, and they don’t skimp on the toppings. However, the crust was a bit inconsistent this time; it was a little doughy in the middle and didn't have that signature crisp we usually expect from Flo's. We also noticed the prices have crept up quite a bit recently, making it a little less 'budget-friendly' for a casual family night than it used to be.

“We visited Big O's Pizza and Booze in downtown Grand Rapids and we were not disappointed.

They had one of the best pizza slices out there. They were just finishing cooking it, so it was super fresh and hot—so hot it actually stuck to my plate and made the video even better! My toppings fell off at first, but I was able to scoop them back up and it was still delicious.

The drinks the bartender made were amazing too. She said it was just the ingredients, but I told her it’s not just the drink—it’s the bartender that makes a great drink.

If you get the chance, go check it out. They seriously have one of the best slices around. We can’t wait to go back, sit down, and try a whole pizza.“

“We order Jets very regularly at our office. So about 15 minutes ago I ordered tomorrow’s office lunch from Jet's Pizza Forest Hills location. About 14 minutes ago, I got a call from a GR number and ignored it .... because ROBO CALLS all the time..... I got a voicemail from James @ Jet’s trying to determine if my order was for tonight (since I forgot to change delivery time to tomorrow 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️) or for tomorrow. In his voicemail he mentioned that since we usually order on Mondays, he’s going to assume it’s for tomorrow unless I call back. How many companies would go through that trouble??? Or even remember their regular clients?? I’m impressed. 👏🏼👏🏼“

“First time...crazy I know. But I had to try cosmic fries. They were okay. My grandson couldn't stop eating them. The new chicken dunkers kinda have a weird texture going on. Took just over half hour to get the food (we were in a rush for movie theater so we were getting kinda worried there for a minute) Waiter was kind and attentive. Place could use a good wipe down on the booths and plexiglass in between. However, I'd try them again.“
