“We came across this restaurant driving by from out of town. We decided we wanted to stop somewhere we have never been before. This place did not disappoint. The food was amazing, outdoor dining was great, and we love the activities outside. I can’t wait to come back on a weekend.”

“We sat at the bar and loved the bartending staff! So fun and amazing cocktails... described what I liked and was made a fun surprise as the night progressed. Had crab cakes & meatballs as apps; both full of flavor! The swordfish was full of flavor and cooked to perfection with the corn risotto and chile oil to add to an amazing palette delight! Finished with the cheesecake which was amazing from pistachio crust to perfect berries. A must go! Clearly a great chef that knows full flavor food, a dessert chef with great care in every aspect of the dish and top bartenders with a full bar experience! Dont hesitate to go there!”

“Simply the best! Came here last night for dinner based on the reviews and was not disappointed! Me and my boyfriend are huge foodies in Chicago and the food was amazing (and hefty portions) (Parisian gnocchi and the calamari were the best!!), recommendations were spot on, and the service was impeccable. A waitress (not ours) fixed our table when she noticed it was wobbling, our waiter checked in on us and provided prompt service and was so pleasant to talk to. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone coming to Grand Rapids! And believe the reviews :)”

We had a chili dog, corn dog, smash burgers, and regular fries, and chili fries between all of us. It was great food. The service was great. Everyone was friendly and having a good time. “Wow. The food, the atmosphere, and the staff (Robert and Ado in particular) are all outstanding. Robert greeted us as if we were already family, Ado made stellar recommendations, you really can’t get this garlic sauce and bread anywhere else, and the entrées hit the spot. The portion sizes were so generous that we have a full meal ready for lunch tomorrow. We will be back. Thank you for being exactly what two tired parents who didn’t want to cook needed tonight.”

“We found Butcher’s Union on a search for great places to eat in Grand Rapids as we were driving through. Someone reviewed it as a “must place to eat”. The atmosphere is great - high end bar feel. We had a hard time deciding on what to eat. Everything on the menu looked amazing. We enjoyed the meatball appetizer with ricotta, whipped feta (omg so good)… burger, ribeye sandwich, bacon wrapped meatloaf and of course chopped salad. Everything was perfect. So full of flavor. High quality across the board. Friendly service. Felt welcomed. Looks like we made a great choice - place was busy the whole time we were there.”

“My wife and enjoyed our 55th anniversary with dinner at Amore'. Chef Jenna visited every table in our area and asked about every course we ordered. This is by far the best restaurant in the Grand Rapids area: we ordered the 5 course Chef's menu and each had something different from appetizers through desserts so we could taste all. From the waiter, the live music, our beverages, and Jenna's attention paid to all, the best meal ever.”

“Wanted to take a special little girl to get her requested Boba Tea and this was the closest, best looking place to grab a few drinks.
The little cafe is SOOOOO CUTE inside. It is very clean and nice, decorated well, and everything looked very comfy and cute. There are several tables to sit at, and a little spot for outdoor too, but it was too sunny for us. There was literally no one in there except us, which was a bit sad. There is also a photo op spot. A cute couch and colorful wall that is adorable in pics.
We were a bit overwhelmed with the menu and just chose something randomly. We both loved our base. I got a larger size than her and I would say mine was too big - I was very full when we finished them.
She got the regular chewy tapioca boba, and I got the stars because I had honestly never heard of them before. I definitely will never be getting the stars again. I did not like it, but that is my fault for ordering it.
The service was really good - they ladies tried helping us, but like I said, we just ordered randomly because it was too much. They were very nice and got our drinks to us quickly.
Overall, we really liked it here. It is close to my work, so I can myself see going back for sure.”
