The food is consistently delicious, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff always makes us feel right at home. They’re attentive, friendly, and incredibly organized—always making sure our group is well taken care of, even on the busiest days. Their positive attitude sets the tone for our entire gathering. “Had a delicious lunch with my husband today 😄🍴! We started with the fried pickles 🥒🔥-crispy, hot, and full of flavor. Then we shared a Margherita pizza 🍕❤️, which was piping hot and just as tasty, with a perfect balsamic drizzle on top 😋✨. Our waiter was super attentive and kind 🥰. The restaurant was a little chilly ❄️, but the cozy atmosphere made up for it. Everything was so enjoyable that we’ll definitely be coming back soon! 🙌🍽️”

“Everything at Gin Gin’s is top notch; from the food to the service to the atmosphere. It is easily the best restaurant in GR! Downside is that it’s hard to get in. You have to get there at open if you don’t have a reservation and if you need a reservation I’d recommend booking at least a week in advance, especially on the weekends.”

“This restaurant came recommend to me as the best steakhouse in Grand Rapids. I was not disappointed. The staff was friendly (Kathryn) and answered all my questions. The atmosphere is perfect for a fancy date. Very romantic setting to impress. I don't drink alcohol and they had an alcohol free 0% Giasen Merlot which was exquisite. I started with French Onion Soup and Cheese Popover Muffins. For an entree, I had Australian Rib Lamb Chops with a Mint Demi Glase. For a side, I enjoyed Brussels Sprouts with Honey Dijon Mustard Sause. Everything exceeded my expectations and the Merlot paired nicely with the Lamb Chops. I highly recommend the Chop House as a must visit dining destination in the heart of Grand Rapids.”

We didn't realize that our favorite thing there wasn't popular enough to retain as a menu item when Leo's changed hands. We can live with the smaller lobster tails, but this is really hard for us to take. Cry.”

This is by far the best restaurant in the Grand Rapids area: we ordered the 5 course Chef's menu and each had something different from appetizers through desserts so we could taste all.
