The restaurant is the cleanest it could possibly be, bathrooms included. I can't say enough about the service, I believe I dealt with the Husband/Wife owners, they are awesome people. They will give you a great experience with a smile. “Highly recommend! First time in and won’t be my last. Best beef kafta I’ve ever had and I grew up in Dearborn. Better than La Marsa, Shish, anywhere. Kafta is tender and not overcooked. They have the food fresh baked round pita bread, not the store bought. The dressing for fattoush is soo good. My server, Rumana, was so sweet and attentive. 11/10!“

“Dined-in, excellent food at this small restaurant with a few high tables. Split the chicken shawarma plate with veggies with my husband, also ordered hommus and meat grape leaves. Everything was great, fresh and evidently made with skill and love. My fave veg was the pickled cabbage. The grape leaves stuffing wasn't my the best ever, but the leaves themselves certainly were. The texture and size were amazing. My husband really liked the sauce they put on the grape leaves, for him, these were the best tasting he's had. Plenty of pita bread to scoop up the hommus. Right temperatures for all the food. A family owns, cooks and staffs the place and they made us feel welcomed and treated us royally. Delicious date filled cookies to go was a winning touch for a superb meal. Wish I lived closer!“

“I normally frequent the brownstone location. however in my work travels sometimes I stop by the 14 n Woodward location. today I got a bowl and had a few problems. 1 the lid wasn't on all the way so now got food all over my clothes and inside my vehicle. also the pieces of meat were big and not sliced up. How tf is someone supposed to eat that with a plastic fork ? it would of took 30 seconds to slice that up for a bowl, instead it was left whole. normally the food is great, but today was not good.“

“I ordered Mixed Protein Rice Bowl and a Small Strawberry Mango Smoothie. It was ready when I arrived and ice and hot. The bowl was so good. I wish I’d found this place earlier! The smoothie was so fresh. It tasted like it had been made the same day with fresh ingredients.“

The place was nice and everybody enjoyed the food from appetizer (Humus) and the signature dishes (Fahsah and the grilled platter Lamb Haneeth). We loved it! “We went for a ladies breakfast and they accommodated our table of 11 without issue. I had the red olive omelette with gluten-free toast and it was great! Apparently they have a lot of gluten-free options: pancakes, waffles, toast, pita bread. Other ladies had lunch salads and other breakfast entrees and everything looked delicious! Prices are very reasonable, portions are generous, and service was outstanding! Many of the ladies had special requests on their orders and everyone was accommodated! I will be back with my family!“

“Good Chicken Shawarma Sandwiches, I Ordered 2. 8/10 stars.

The only 2 things I didn't like was the extra garlic sauce they put in and they told me 15 mins...walked in 15 mins later and the sandwiches were luke-warm.

So I believe (and having experience working in restaurants)...was that they say 15 mins no matter what and these sandwiches were probably made within 5 mins and sat on the counter.

No worries...I won't hold that against them. It was a quick thing and last minute thing to eat a carry out.
I'll be back because the person who rung me up was very nice.

“Bowls are delicious, but the in store ordering and payment process could be optimized a little better. Three specific examples. 1. We ordered the Harissa chicken and the garlicy chicken bowls as they are, so the servers were using the specific recipe card for each bowl. But as the line moved on, the servers mixed up the bowl and the card pairing with the bowls ordered by the customer in front of us. 2. The server at the start of the building pipeline would frequently jump to the end of the pipeline to get stuff or fix things for their coworkers 3. The cashier at the end of the pipeline also get pulled out to prepare food so withholding the payment process. All three examples combined on a busy day would put the pipeline on hold and creating a bit of a chaotic scene in front of all the waiting customers.“
