“Dined-in, excellent food at this small restaurant with a few high tables. Split the chicken shawarma plate with veggies with my husband, also ordered hommus and meat grape leaves. Everything was great, fresh and evidently made with skill and love. My fave veg was the pickled cabbage. The grape leaves stuffing wasn't my the best ever, but the leaves themselves certainly were. The texture and size were amazing. My husband really liked the sauce they put on the grape leaves, for him, these were the best tasting he's had. Plenty of pita bread to scoop up the hommus. Right temperatures for all the food. A family owns, cooks and staffs the place and they made us feel welcomed and treated us royally. Delicious date filled cookies to go was a winning touch for a superb meal. Wish I lived closer!“

The restaurant is the cleanest it could possibly be, bathrooms included. I can't say enough about the service, I believe I dealt with the Husband/Wife owners, they are awesome people. “I am visiting the area and how to craving for a big gyro you know like at the fair this was around the corner so I came on by. I do not eat out at all for almost 10 months since I quit food and Bev I literally used to make this kind of food for a living. I was a little disappointed about they're Tzatziki sauce. But the flavor of the gyro meat was spot on. Everybody was very friendly from the minute I walked in especially since I've never been there before. They explained it very well but you know 40 years working in the kitchen I have to know exactly the ingredients of what you use. They made me one free of charge which goes above customer service. I just got home and the sandwich was wonderful thank you“

“Let's talk about coffee. I'm a person that only drinks one dark roast coffee in the morning. I also only drink one large mug in my stainless steel Yeti with the vacuum seal and I want it to be a good tasting one or I don't want any at all. I'm that kind of person. So on a Sunday when we escaped the house and I never got my usual cuppa and we went to Red Olive for breakfast I was craving a cup of coffee. I almost never order coffee out unless it's a coffee cafe and then not often because I think it's crazy expensive. Ok. Please don't judge me. It's just my thing. But on this Sunday our darling waitress said: "Trust me. Our coffee is good. It is a Red Olive blend...not just a run of the mill type." She was right. It WAS good. Not the same as my homemade coffee but I'm telling you I had 3 cups. The cups are small and they re-fill often so it stays hot. I ordered a spinach feta omelet and they almost always taste the same everywhere and I like that taste so when we are making a breakfast decision I'll definitely suggest Red Olive because they have better coffee than other breakfast places we've gone to. Small pleasures in life make a difference.“

“I normally frequent the brownstone location. however in my work travels sometimes I stop by the 14 n Woodward location. today I got a bowl and had a few problems. 1 the lid wasn't on all the way so now got food all over my clothes and inside my vehicle. also the pieces of meat were big and not sliced up. How tf is someone supposed to eat that with a plastic fork ? it would of took 30 seconds to slice that up for a bowl, instead it was left whole. normally the food is great, but today was not good.“

I got there about 20 minutes before they opened, line was not long yet only about 15 people 🔜 Once we got inside they welcomed us and gave everyone tote bags with a cookie and Cava cup inside🥤The dining area is beautifully done and spacious one of the bigger locations I've seen plenty of space for people waiting in line and for people to eat and pickup their food 🍛Ordering was a smooth process and the line was moving at a steady pace 💯 If you download the app you can sign up for their rewards and use it inside or when ordering online 📲 I had the build your own bowl with saffron rice 🍚 braised lamb 🐑 cucumbers + tomatoes 🥒🍅 red pepper hummus 🌶️tzatziki ⚪️ skhug 🌿 garlic 🧄 and hot harissa vinaigrette 🔥 it also comes with a free pita on the side 🫓 and you can choose to get hot harissa pita chips and a drink as well if you want 🍹My bowl was incredible, very fresh and full of different flavors that go very well together 🤩 The hot harissa pita chips were crispy and fluffy at the same time, they were well seasoned too! Dipping them in the hummus and tzatziki was delicious and reminds me of traditional middle eastern bread but crispier 😍 Their drinks are made in house I've had the strawberry citrus in the past so I went with the blueberry lavender lemonade which was unique and refreshing 🫐 Mrs. Mo was super friendly and welcoming to everyone asking them how was everything and making sure things were going well 👏🏼 They have booster seats available for the little ones and a changing table for babies in the bathroom which was clean and open so you can wash your hands after done eating 🧼 There is a good amount of parking in their lot and the market parking lot right next door 🚙 The drive thru is for picking up mobile orders and you can also pick them up inside as well🚪Overall it's five stars for fantastic food and service if you love rice bowls this place is a must try 🙌🏼“

“Nothing but positive things to say about Metro Bistro at Clarion Hotel in Romulus Michigan. Staff was great and food was awesome. Our meals came quickly and the portions were big. Absolutely phenomenal first visit to Fattoush Village Café!
This little slice of Middle Eastern heaven is just down the street from my office, and as a huge fan of Middle Eastern food, I had a serious craving for garlic paste—Fattoush Village delivered. I ordered the Lamb Shawarma wrap lunch special, and wow… the flavors are to die for. The wrap came with rice and a drink for just $12.99, and honestly, the portion is so generous it’ll cover me for two lunches. Win!
I also added a side of falafel (because how could I not?), which was another slam dunk. It was crispy, flavorful, and perfect.
The service? Wonderful. It was super warm and welcoming—I’m guessing it’s a husband-and-wife duo behind the counter. Both smiled and greeted me, even from behind the grill. While I waited, they offered me a taste of their lentil soup,-- and it was delicious, rich, hearty, and full of flavor.
