“I did a meal train order for a friend. I called with so many questions, but they were patient with me and answered all of my questions. I placed a same day Catering order. Not only did they say "yes" to the order but they also cooked everything just before pick up for maximum freshness and so it was hot. They helped me bring to the car and they checked for every item before I left. That food was SO SO GOOD!! My friend and her family asked for the location so they can order again. Thank you all so much for the amazing service and amazing food!

Everything was great, fresh and evidently made with skill and love. My fave veg was the pickled cabbage. The grape leaves stuffing wasn't my the best ever, but the leaves themselves certainly were. The texture and size were amazing. My husband really liked the sauce they put on the grape leaves, for him, these were the best tasting he's had. Plenty of pita bread to scoop up the hommus. Right temperatures for all the food. A family owns, cooks and staffs the place and they made us feel welcomed and treated us royally. Delicious date filled cookies to go was a winning touch for a superb meal. Wish I lived closer!“

“My daughter & I ordered a Kaffta wrap & Gyro. Both where phenomenal!!! I have ate there previously, the food is excellent, fresh, made right in front of you. The charcoal is what makes it for me... The restaurant is the cleanest it could possibly be, bathrooms included. I can't say enough about the service, I believe I dealt with the Husband/Wife owners, they are awesome people. They will give you a great experience with a smile. The server was very informative and attentive to the customers. Nine of that means nothing, though if the food is bad right? No worries here, the food was fantastic! I had a lamb shawarma and a fattoush salad. Both were strong in flavor and had enough proportions to fill you up. I'd definitely recommend this place to others. “I normally frequent the brownstone location. however in my work travels sometimes I stop by the 14 n Woodward location. today I got a bowl and had a few problems. 1 the lid wasn't on all the way so now got food all over my clothes and inside my vehicle. also the pieces of meat were big and not sliced up. How tf is someone supposed to eat that with a plastic fork ? it would of took 30 seconds to slice that up for a bowl, instead it was left whole. normally the food is great, but today was not good.“

“Let's talk about coffee. I'm a person that only drinks one dark roast coffee in the morning. I also only drink one large mug in my stainless steel Yeti with the vacuum seal and I want it to be a good tasting one or I don't want any at all. I'm that kind of person. So on a Sunday when we escaped the house and I never got my usual cuppa and we went to Red Olive for breakfast I was craving a cup of coffee. I almost never order coffee out unless it's a coffee cafe and then not often because I think it's crazy expensive. Ok. Please don't judge me. It's just my thing. But on this Sunday our darling waitress said: "Trust me. Our coffee is good. It is a Red Olive blend...not just a run of the mill type." She was right. It WAS good. Not the same as my homemade coffee but I'm telling you I had 3 cups. The cups are small and they re-fill often so it stays hot. I ordered a spinach feta omelet and they almost always taste the same everywhere and I like that taste so when we are making a breakfast decision I'll definitely suggest Red Olive because they have better coffee than other breakfast places we've gone to. Small pleasures in life make a difference.“

I was greeted quickly once inside. Parked my kiester in a booth and looked the menu over. Not huge but a pretty good selection.
Ordered the Shish Kafta from the lunch specials because they come with two sides. Lentil soup & a salad for me.
Be aware! Nowhere on the menu, nor did the server say a word about it, but there is a $1 upcharge for salads. There is a small sign at the display case, maybe 4" x 6", but you'll never notice unless you're looking and why would you be? Half the seating doesn't even look that direction.
The food was delicious, the dressing on the aforementioned salad has a nice hit of lime in it. Very tasty.
The meat was well-seasoned and juicy, the vegetables lightly grilled, i.e., still crunchy.
When I mentioned the upcharge to the lady, she reached over the counter to point at the sign. I suggested they put it on the menus so customers can actually see it. New menus are supposed to be coming soon.“
