“A very friendly bar that we have loved to go to for probably the last 10 12 years. The owner is a great gal and the clientele are always friendly. Schafers always feels like at at home bar. We have no problem driving from Portland Westphalia to have a cold beer or a drink it's certainly worth it. I have met so many wonderful people here over the years. We do not mind that they don't have food because we always run down to Diana's and get subs and Schafer's doesn't care if you eat them there.“

“I went to this place for the first time and fell in love with it, it's a small bar with a big big personality. The owner is amazing, his staff is amazing, the food is way way over the top (amazing) compared to other food places especially other bars, the people running the karaoke on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights are amazing and have great current hits. About the only thing that I can say bad is the bathroom hot water is very hot. Lol

Parking: Parking is street parking, and there is a lot of it.

“We love Eagle Inn and are here with our kids at least once a week. The waitstaff is so friendly and knows our kids names and orders by heart. The food is always awesome, and our favorite place to watch Lions games, there’s a billions tv’s! They even have kids menus and crayons! You also cannot beat their fish fry on Fridays!!!“
