“Sorry to say Randy's fell short sea food buffet which mostly chicken very little fish or shrimp was not impressed. Service was fine for a buffet.“

“All the people that work there do the best they can when busy. They have great specials, the food is great and always fresh! I would just remind everyone when they are busy they get every order out as fast as possible, please be patient!“

“Food is always good when we go. Customer service by waitstaff was good. Only thing that we didnt appreciate this time was could hear the kitchen staff yelling and being a little much, BUT I know that has not happened other times so maybe it was just an off evening. Just makes hard to enjoy family time with your kid with that atmosphere. I will go again and do recommend others go.“

“Quaint restaurant in an old log cabin. Used to be Joe's Coney Island. Since it changed to Rex's, it has cute little dinosaur themed signs on the walls. Great food, with daily specials. They do charge extra, for using a credit card.“

“First time going here, absolutely loved the atmosphere is very welcoming and inviting... very fancy upscale restaurant the pasta and chips are made fresh there, i got a shrimp Alfredo, and it was by far the best Alfredo noodles.I've had in a very long time. Half of the side of my family are Italian, cecilian, and I could tell that the pasta was made right there, i felt like I was in my grandmother's kitchen again!!!“

“I would recommend this restaurant any day of the week except for Monday and Tuesday evenings. I was in there tonight around 7:30 getting dinner with my grandson. it was 7:48. there was a car pull in to do the same thing. it would have been a table of 5 or 6 people coming in but one of the waitresses there took matters into her own hands walked over shut the open sign off then proceeded to walk out the side doors close to the funeral home and tell the costumers that they were closed. I don't see how this is far to not only the costumers or the restaurant owners. it is not the first time I have seen this done in Monday or Tuesday. I myself have witnessed it many others times turning customers away.“

“I grew up in the house next door ( now a used car lot) in the 50’s and early 60’s. I took my wife up there to show her where I grew up and was happy to see the Spikehorn was still there. We stopped in had lunch it was very busy so we ate at the bar. Service was great bartender was friendly and efficient. Food was good . No complaints. I will be going back whenever we are back to Houghton Lake.“

“11 of us for a mid afternoon meal. The waitress, Stacie, was awesome! Personable and efficient! Best mushrooms I’ve ever had! The fried mushrooms are Bella mushrooms and they were amazing! Made fresh in house! Chicken Caesar salad was good, hamburgers were good, Rubens were good! Drinks were good! We will definitely come here again! 😍“
