“Went and enjoyed dinner during the recent wine walk. They were absolutely slammed but we had very friendly service, food and drinks came out quicker than some places on a slow day. Everything was absolutely delicious, love that they use local beef too. Had a good chat with the chef as well when he was walking around checking on everyone.“

“Mac's Place, in West Branch Michigan, is the absolutely best place to go for an excellent variety of breakfast foods! Sarah & Brooke are most excellent, enthusiastic, bright-smiled women! They attended to my needs! My mom and dad always loved coming here--since 1980--and whenever they were in West Branch, this established was their place to go! After my Pop passed away in April 2011, Mom & I carried on the tradition until her passing in July 2017. This is my first time returning and I will carry on their tradition of Mac's Place. Me and my friends discovered this hidden gem 💎 this summer on our way to Higgins Lake. Not too far from Logger's Depot in West Branch, which is our favorite place to stop on our way to Higgins Lake annually.

The atmosphere is very country like. Not really for kids, but we were welcomed with open arms by the staff even though they knew we were out of towners & all the local patrons there were friendly. Kinda like that hole in the wall place, but if you like that kind of place, you'll ❤️ it here! There is also a digital juke box with any song your heart desires if you want to hear music 🎵 🎶

The owner/manager Brent is extremely nice 😊. He took the time to have a great conversation with us & even gave us complimentary drinks on the house for our generous business & kind words.

I recommend this place to anyone who is traveling up north if you want some good food 😋 & a few drinks 🍷. You'll thank me later 👍“

“My wife asked for a medium-well done steak, but when she received it, her steak was still a deep pink on the inside. We told the server, who took it back to the kitchen to be cooked properly. When it was brought back out the manager apologized and waited to see if the steak was to my wife's satisfaction, then left. Our server always checked on us and he did everything in his power to see we had a positive dining experience. His name began with a G, but I can't remember the correct spelling, Gerrelle I believe, but he did an excellent job.“

“This Culvers was on the side of a busy highway so it was hard to get thru but they got a high rating because they had an pickle burger that I wanted to get again cuz my dad ate it instead of me so HAD to get another one it looked so good and I didn't get to eat it yet!!“
