“I randomly decided to stop here on my way back to Marshall from Kalamazoo the other day with my son. I always see it but never thought to stop. I’m so glad I did because the daily specials were cheap, the food was great, and the service was kind. Great cup of coffee as well.“

“The grazing table did 3 charcuterie boards for us for our wedding shower and they were nothing short of amazing! Not only did they look great, they tasted so good! We ended up eating at the grazing table one time before that and the food was amazing then too! Will definitely be coming back!“

“I Like it here everything was smooth when the old owner had owned the company but there have been good new things that came along with the new owner with the expansion of the menu, but the biggest downfall to where I’m starting not to want to come is because every time there is always something different with the recipes. The recipes are not consistent. one day I might like something and get the same thing the next day and it’ll be completely different. For example The cajun gumbo I had recently has usually a thick consistency but the recent time that I just got it, it was really brothy/water and I did not enjoy it. Things will be better if they can be consistent with their recipes and how it’s being made until then I might just have to stay away..“

“Went over for breakfast the other day while staying in the area. Not a fancy place, but good solid food. I enjoyed my veggie omelette and turkey sausage, although the omelette was a bit greasy. My wife liked her Alaska French toast and regular French toast. Our server was really good. She was friendly, attentive, didn't auction off the food and pre bussed our table. Prices are average and it's worth stopping by.“

“We stopped at the Summer Thyme Cafe for lunch on our way to Lake Michigan. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting with little booths and tables for dining in. The menu has a great variety of salads and sandwiches, so it was hard to decide what to order! I chose the Chicken Pecan salad, and it was delicious. Everything was so fresh; the serving size was generous but not overwhelming. My husband had the Cobb salad, and it was very good too. Our server was pleasant and attentive. The cafe is conveniently located about 0.5 miles from the highway-easy on/easy off. I would definitely recommend this cute little cafe for lunch and look forward to stopping there again when I'm passing through Kalamazoo. PS-the desserts looked amazing! Fresh pies,cake, bars etc. [We're trying to avoid sweets so we didn't partake-but it was tempting].

“I don’t like doing one stars anymore. If someone has that bad of a opinion nobody forced you to go here . A lot of people crying over prices. Again nobody made you buy here . But on the other hand everything I ate wasn’t very fresh. To eat the French toast you need a cup of water to dip it in . Way to hard . I got hash here and was like rocks . The slushes are the best . But nice little snack area. Only thing two employees was talking and I walked up stood there for 30 seconds and they still didn’t say anything. So I said excuse me . Still nothing. So I walked away . They then tried to help me and I said nvm pay attention to your customers. With all this I still give a 5 star. Because it helps a manager talk to these people to fix the issues. If you complain about the price and give a one star , just seems crazy . Also with COVID I think they should clean the tables. Couldn’t find one clean table and they just stood there for most part“

Music was pleasant, unobtrusive, and at an appropriate volume so I could focus on conversation with my family without the music setting off my auditory processing disorder. “I order my coffee on the Bigby App so that I can cut my wait time down. I still have to wait inside because they never have more than one person making drinks and can never make a bagel in under 25 minutes. Ridiculous.“

“I picked up a sub for my Mans lunch. He said it was ok but has eaten better. And...people just aren't friendly anymore. The gal that waited on me didn't appear to be happy to be there. The did away with the chicken/beef and broccoli bowl and that was the best thing they had. Im very disappointed“
