“I found this cute little restaurant while I was staying in Kalamazoo. The food was amazing, the service was excellent and the prices were unbelievable. Gia was my server all three times i came in, and she really went above and beyond. On my second visit, I also met Bre, who made this delicious treat for me, after I had a pretty tough morning. Thanks ladies! I will definitely be back.“
“I Like it here everything was smooth when the old owner had owned the company but there have been good new things that came along with the new owner with the expansion of the menu, but the biggest downfall to where I’m starting not to want to come is because every time there is always something different with the recipes. The recipes are not consistent. one day I might like something and get the same thing the next day and it’ll be completely different. For example The cajun gumbo I had recently has usually a thick consistency but the recent time that I just got it, it was really brothy/water and I did not enjoy it. Things will be better if they can be consistent with their recipes and how it’s being made until then I might just have to stay away..“

“We stopped at the Summer Thyme Cafe for lunch on our way to Lake Michigan. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting with little booths and tables for dining in. The menu has a great variety of salads and sandwiches, so it was hard to decide what to order! I chose the Chicken Pecan salad, and it was delicious. Everything was so fresh; the serving size was generous but not overwhelming. My husband had the Cobb salad, and it was very good too. Our server was pleasant and attentive. The cafe is conveniently located about 0.5 miles from the highway-easy on/easy off. I would definitely recommend this cute little cafe for lunch and look forward to stopping there again when I'm passing through Kalamazoo. PS-the desserts looked amazing! Fresh pies, cake, bars etc. [We're trying to avoid sweets so we didn't partake-but it was tempting].
Vegetarian options: You can get salads without the protein.“

“I love throwback diners and George & Sally's is definitely a throwback! Come enjoy the sights and smells of this 50s style diner! Great look from the outside, easily seen from the road. Parking is ample with plenty of spots! Food is hot, fresh and well prepared with generous portions! Take a step back in time and dine how they used to at George and Sally's Blue Moon Diner!“

“My favorite coffee shop(s) in town. Love the atmosphere at all of them - especially the bookstore. The downtown location seems to struggle with food preparation time - I have waited 10 - 15 minutes more than once for a bagel with cream cheese. Both times I was in a bit of a hurry so that doesn’t help. I highly recommend - and will likely stop trying to dash in downtown.“

“I randomly decided to stop here on my way back to Marshall from Kalamazoo the other day with my son. I always see it but never thought to stop. I’m so glad I did because the daily specials were cheap, the food was great, and the service was kind. Great cup of coffee as well.“
