“Introduced to me by my sister and brother-in-law, this restaurant is deceptively unassuming looking both outside and in. Though it looks modest, the food and wait staff are anything but. I've been here three times (all for breakfast) now and can say that on each visit our server was polite and attentive. The menu has a wide selection of meals, especially breakfast. There are omelettes, scramblers, skillets, sandwiches, fou5r different types of eggs Benedict and from the griddle, a tasty variety of pancakes, French toast, waffles and crepes. Everything we've ordered has been excellent. I've had the Mexican skillet, Irish and house (pictured) omelets and have been pleased with all of them. I've chosen pancakes twice instead of toast and they are awesome. If you're in the area and hungry I would highly recommend.“
“They have old fashion malts and shakes!!!! We are talking hand dipped ice cream and real whole milk. Choice of flavors chocolate, vanilla, strawberry and cherry (at least I think cherry). They serve breakfast all day, hamburgers and other sandwiches and dinners.I enjoyed a cheeseburger, way too many french fries and an old fashion rootbeer float. There was enough to share; well the float and fries that is.Parking is behind the building, with plenty of indoor seating. Or use the drive up window.“
“Absolutely AMAZING! We ordered takeout for an employee luncheon. 8 entrees (sandwiches and salads) were completed within 25 minutes of ordering. Food was amazing, perfect portion sizes. We ended up forgetting to place one order, and the staff was SO quick to receive our call and make that as quickly as possible for pick-up. The gal working up front (will edit once I get her name) was SO incredible. So friendly and quick, as with the entire staff, even when they had almost a full house when I arrived! Again, she was more than happy to get our entree in on the fly, even though that was a mistake on my end. The cafe itself is small and cozy. Perfect for a coffee or lunch date, as the noise level doesn't get too crazy other than early mornings and lunch rushes, which is expected. I didn't get a chance to try the coffee, but it smelled phenomenal. Can't wait to order again. Also excited to try their take home meals!“
“It’s an amazing coffee store and I think Battle Creek has been blessed with them. I love their coffee and the food is delicious, even though the sandwiches could be a bit bigger but that’s just my fat butt haha. The employees are surprisingly friendly and sweet. I will definitely be making this my go to place “
“Great family diner! I've tried their Coney dogs and their catfish. My husband has tried their pancakes and a 1/2 chef salad. I had a garden salad and hash browns with my catfish. I like my hash browns crisp. They did a great job! The garden salad was a good sized salad with generous ingredients. Their blue cheese dressing-- not bad! I admit I'm a terrible critic when it comes to blue cheese dressing--my mother made homemade blue cheese dressing when I was growing up. The chef salad was large for a 1/2 chef salad! Again, a lot of ingredients. I've also had their Rueben sandwich--very good and not greasy! They could stand a couple more handicap parking since it seems to be popular with the older crowd.“
“Love this place if your look7ng for something healthy weather its protien fat burner or anything that helps with working out and or diet this is the place for you staff ar awesome ans accommodating a n.v d very knowledgeable and beautiful check it out you wont regret it“
“By far the best location. Best staff in the state. I've traveled all over Michigan & none of the locations make my coffee the way this location does. Highly recommend!Dietary restrictions: They have a lot of options if you can not drink milk. They are very cautious of nut allergies, too.Parking: Parking is great but the customers at Friends sometimes take up biggby spots, which is really annoying.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. Lots of kid friendly drink option.Wheelchair accessibility: The wheelchair ramp is always well cleaned off & never obstructed.“
“I did a walk through. I was there a long time ago, and, I could see the changes and I was very pleased. I have a lot of experience. I did security at Denso, first in the front doing tours, then in the back at the gate checking, in trucks. I've had two licensed day cares, I legally started working with a work permit, it was chicken coop, and, then@15, I worked @mosses a and w on Columbia Ave,. From there I was still in school and went to the vocational center and took food service, so, my teacher got me a job @ Kelloggs, I was a cashier. From there I went Interbake, did Quality control, they had contracts with Kelloggs, girl scouts and dairy queen. I worked there 6 years. I will be donating gloves and hats for those that need them.“
“I love this place! Typically, I use the app to pick up food and coffee on the way to work in the morning. I love the extra efforts the staff put into a putting a smile on my coffee cup each morning and always greeting me ( and others) when you walk in the door. The coffee is outstanding and I can’t go back to other national coffee stores after having Cafe Rica. I have enjoyed breakfast, lunch and snacks and the food is always creative and flavorful ( thank you for having vegetarian options). Unfortunately, I have only had a few opportunities to sit and enjoy my coffee with friends, but I appreciate the atmosphere and staff who are always friendly and welcoming.Vegetarian options: Love the veggie quesadilla…even for breakfast.“
