The patrons tonight included a young man, maybe mid-20’s who stood up to thank a veteran for his service as he was leaving his dining table by himself. All around a great dining experience and the coffee is bomb!“

“They shut down the dining in and have carryout only. Almond boneless chicken was good, shrimp rings were great. Only gave them a 4 star rating due to the pork fried rice, wasn't much than just brown rice with a couple tiny pieces of pork . Wonton was also good. I ordered 5 dinners and 2 quarts of soup. They had it ready in 15 minutes and the order wasn't missing anything, prices were also reasonable.“

“My three guests had never eaten at Green Street and they loved the atmosphere as well as the food. This was an important time and place for us because I was their ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher back in the 1983-84 school year!! “I just had an amazing lunch at Carter’s Cantina. The staff were super friendly, the food was delicious and they even had chicken tenders for my little one. It was a great dining experience with a family vibe. We will definitely be back!“

“Always a consideration for us for dining in or carryout. The last time we got carryout, my mom and I couldn't decide between the Baked Meatloaf or the Roasted Fresh Turkey (with dressing)... So of course, we each ordered one and split it (it was so much food, we could've ordered *one* meal and split it). Oh my gosh, these two entrees were delicious. Homemade taste and was the ultimate comfort food!!!! If I absolutely had to pick, the turkey was my fav, but it was sooooo close. The turkey, dressing, gravy, and mashed potatoes are truly nostalgic. So simple, but I'm craving to go back again just for that.
The service is always very fast, very friendly; just that small, hometown feel every time. Highly recommend for any time of the day and any meal!“

“Stopped in today for lunch with my daughter and son in law. First thing to notice is how clean this place is. I’m talking spotless. Our waitress, Nicole, greeted us with smiles and laughs. Everything ordered was fabulous, and hot. 10/10 for this place. We will come back!! The steak bites were so good. Chicken fingers were in house breaded, the brisket sandwich was so tender. I see there’s no new recommendations so I posting one.“

We preordered, so our food arrived hot and just in time for the event—it worked out perfectly. The quality surpasses that of the nationwide chains we've tried before. “Have been here several times for good food and drinks but, this is the first time I'm leaving a review. We went here last night with friends and all of our kids. At one point all of our kids were playing pool and an employee or owner (not sure which position) had her dog with her. My daughter who has autism was very excited but in the mix she said something that could be perceived as rude but the lady with the dog did not react and seemed to let it go without judgment which I really appreciate. ?“

I called in my order, and it was ready in just 25 minutes, quick and convenient. The prices are very reasonable, and the staff was polite and made me feel welcome from start to finish. “My family has ordered from New China Gourmet for almost 20 years and it has never disappointed. The owners have always been so friendly and really take pride in serving the best quality Chinese food in the area with generous portions and reasonable prices. The vegetable fried rice and almond boneless chicken are my go-to entrees and the crab Rangoon are my ABSOLUTE favorite.. I am a crab Rangoon snob so I don’t say that lightly.
They stopped doing dine-in service after Covid and are only carry out, but the space is very organized for to go orders and the kitchen alway looks to be kept clean, even during a rush.
We recently ordered for Christmas Day, which has become a tradition for us! We ordered our food around 2 PM to have it ready for 4 PM because you definitely want to order ahead on those expected high volume holidays. The timing worked out perfectly and our order was hot, ready on time and absolutely delicious!
This time I tried shrimp and broccoli for the first time and was a little surprised when the sauce was a clear, whitish color with more cabbage/onions than broccoli. I had seen a picture online that showed it to be a brownish sauce and just broccoli. It’s possible that the review I saw was a special order, and I would’ve preferred the darker sauce but overall it was still a yummy dish!“

“Absolutely phenomenal food, I got the beef curry rice noodle, and my fiancé got chicken pad Thai, Both were very delicious and they gave us wonderfully large portion of food. There could be a little more protein in there, a little more chicken with a pad, Thai and a little more beef with the curry dish, but still absolutely delicious. The restaurant was very nice and clean, and the hostess was very kind, attentive, and helpful. Will absolutely come back, highly recommend.“

Prices are a little more than Leong's 23 Chinese Restaurant. Fast service. No issues. They speak decent english.\n\nThe taste. I ordered the schwean/szechuan chicken combo. Tasted good. Slightly different than Leong's 23 Chinese Restaurant. I can tell they used garlic pepper for the schwean/szechuan chicken. Not necessary for this dish. Good eggrolls. Same dipping sauce but a little on the sour side. Needs a little water to fix taste. The combo plate had less food than expected.\n\nAll in all both this place and Leong's 23 Chinese Restaurant make good chinese food. Try one, or try both. Both are good enough for my taste.
