From the bruschetta appetizer (so good it was gone before a picture was taken) to the carmel apple pie dessert, the meal and service were impeccable. We split the rack of pork (huge portion chops) that were honestly some of the best pork chops I've ever had. The village salad upgrade is recommended as well as the house dressing. I highly recommend Vic's for a fine dining experience. You may want to make a reservation in advance and ask for Cindy B.....bon' appetit“

“Truly feels like a 'hidden gem' the moment you walk-in; they've recreated a 'Roman Village' with perfect aesthetics, ambiance and ambient music. You feel the calm and warmth as you sit down, just breathing it all in as you immerse in their 'set'.
Their menu lets you take that experience another step further since you walked in to now taste their carefully crafted menu options. Everything looks and sounds delectable!
Oh and the free bread. Olive garden has NOTHING on them when it comes to free bread's taste 🤌

Finally the service. They make you feel right at home with their no-rush attitude and pleasant demeanor.

It's unfortunate it's tucked away from major city traffic, but also glad it gets to keep its calm appearance, both in and out.“

“We have long been loyal Cook Shop customers and I am writing this review as we recently ordered a take-out catered dinner for ten people and it was outstanding from start to finish!

The entire process was smooth — from placing the order and the excellent recommendations to the thoughtful packaging that made serving at home so easy.

Every dish was fresh, flavourful, and hot as if we were eating at their charming and intimate restaurant. Our guests could not stop raving about the quality and generous portions, from their signature caesar salad to the Orechetti a La Sausice with rapini. We also served Chicken Lemonata paired with mushrooms and it was perfection on a plate. Their tiramisu served as an outstanding finish to an already exceptional meal. My guests were asking the ingredients in every dish as the flavours were spectacular.

The staff was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. It is evident they take great pride in both their culinary quality and customer service.

It had not crossed our minds to use this incredible restaurant for catering, and we are so glad we did. For me, The Cook Shop delivers a dining experience worthy of Michelin Star recognition. “At the Southgate Mi. Carrabba's locstion, Tamika was a pleasure to have as our server! She was so polite and great to talk to. Lots of positive help. She offered some great ideas to try when we asked. One of my favorite entrees over the last three or four years has always been the pork tenderloin medallions with a very unique sauce. 😋 We both noticed that it wasn’t on the menu any more when I mentioned it to her. She apologized. She said “corporate” sometimes likes to have a different variety for there customers to try. She said that she would ask the cook to see if he could prepair it for me. She came back to our table and said that he could!! I was so pleased with my entree and thanked her very much for asking. I asked Tamika to give the cook two thumbs up 👍🏻👍🏻 for me for making that excellent tasting meal.
These are just a few of the reasons we always enjoy dining at Carrabba’s! My wife and I left feeling well treated by Tamika that evening. Oh! By the way, we also enjoyed the Blackberry Sangria’s as well!! 😋“

“I have to say, I called Saturday for a birthday party I had going on for Sunday. The coordinator for catering, Jeff was absolutely fantastic. He asked all of the perfect questions and worked with the menu to ensure we were getting a fair price for a great amount of food. He took initiative and was pleasant to speak to. “I had to prepare some food for a potluck, but I had a pretty full schedule. I called Liberati's and they were able to accommodate me on about 36 hours notice with 3 of their 3' party subs. They were on time and ready when I arrived and Frank himself helped to load them into my car. I wasn't ready for what came next: texts, mail, and messages all saying thank you for a great contribution and half of them asking me where to get them. You clearly can't go wrong with LIberati's.“

“Wize Guys was wonderful to me and my dad tonight! A large party was reserved and all they had open were high tops, but he's a couple months out from a knee replacement and wouldn't have been able to get up. They accommodated us an brought up a low table so we could dine in. We got the Spicy Arrabiata pizza which was delicious. The Sierra Rose Blackberry Cider was also so good! Perfect place in the heart of Flat Rock, absolutely worth it!“

Kid-friendliness: It is so kid friendly that staff are not allowed to ask parents to contain their children when said children are dangerously running around the restaurant unsupervised. Just imagine a tray full of food and dishes landing on a small child because the parents decided to neglect their child? Those same parents would sue the restaurant in a heartbeat when any such incident is their fault.“
