We ultimately chose a chocolate cake with chocolate mousse, and it was absolutely incredible. Our wedding guests gave us so many compliments on how delicious it was. “4 star, could have been 5star if they bake the bread a little longer

1. Location is convenient. I don't have to drive to Dearborn for man'oushé (flat bread) if I am nearby for work.
2 Everything is fresh, bread is roll off from a machine at the back and then bake in the brick oven. They need to bake it a little longer because the back of the bread is sort of white.
3. Meat bread is not oily for some reason. more tomato flavor compare to other bakery. Maybe that's how the owner likes it.
4. Zaatar flavor is mild, herb is not overwhelming. Maybe because I ate it when it was cold.
5. Cheese bread is good, bread is thick like pita bread which is odd.

“My husband and I just got married at the end of September. He's Italian and his family comes here for many desserts and pastries. When I was considering who to go through for our wedding cake, Mannino's was the obvious choice! I don't have very many photos since we are still waiting to get them back from the photographer. We ordered a small, 1-tier cake just for my husband and I to eat, and 170 cannoli for the rest of our wedding guests. We had half with chocolate chips, and half with nuts. They were a big hit and all of our Italian family members loved them! Our cake was delicious as well, and Lisa was very accommodating while we tried to figure out what flavor and fillings we wanted.“

The meat pie was also so good and not overpowered with spices like other bakeries in the area. The gem at the register was so sweet to us too. “New auntie Anne’s location inside the meijer on 14 and Coolidge hwy across from the plaza with Home Depot. Let me say I LOVE auntie Anne’s and keep it a stack, the appeal of going to the mall these days is to get a pretzel. I love cinnamon sugar, and my partner is all about sweet almond. Now I came here to this location specifically because it is somewhat close to the crib and I wanted to try the confetti nuggets. Personally the corporate auntie Anne’s should be ashamed because they do a disservice to what you actually think when you taste them ( just bread and sprinkles not that vanilla cake taste). Now the manager saw I was dissatisfied and was able to make me whole with the cinnamon sugar pretzels. When I tell you those were some of the best cinnamon sugar pretzels I ever had! I ate them in probably less than 3 minutes every bite savory and flavorful. Staff very friendly and accommodating providing top notch customer service. Got my lady the sweet almond joy and the best part is unlike the mall, some things are made specifically to order, it’s not just sitting in a heater or window for an unknown amount of time. Definitely support this business, I will be telling friends and family and may purchases grocers specifically from this meijers to get myself a treat for me and the kiddos.“

“I went to a wedding this weekend that had the wedding cake and desserts made by Militello's Bakery. To say that the desserts were amazing is an understatement. I've never had a wedding cake that was made with real whipped cream. I grabbed a piece of cake thinking I would only have a couple bites like I normally would do at a wedding, but landed up eating the whole piece. i highly recommend them for all your dessert and cake needs!“
