“We were having a heck of a time picking where to eat on our way back down state and boy are we glad we stopped here! We weren’t expecting anything special but the food was fantastic, server was great, manager was great! it’s been a long time since we’ve ate out and we’re actually happy we did instead of just cooking at home! Definitely stopping here again on our next trip up!“

“We ate here last weekend for probably the 6th time, we look forward to it every time we’re in St. Ignace! Great staff who deal with the busy northern Michigan weekend rush of entitled down staters and out of staters with class, and the food is always excellent. They have live acoustic music on the weekends, and the artists are usually really impressive. Ignore the poor reviews, this is one of the best spots in town!“

“One of the oldest buildings in Michigan dating back to the 1780’s. Food and apps are killer! Service is great food comes out quick and hot. The ambience of the building is really cool. Military and law-enforcement discount. Super veteran and law-enforcement friendly. This is a great American establishment in one of the oldest Michigan buildings! I truly look forward to coming here every single year we’re on vacation! This is a staple on our trip!“

“Very cute area to grab cocktails or lunch. We stopped by with our dog and sat in the bar area and just got drinks. We ordered at the bar and the drinks were tasty, but there was a very long bar line due to the restaurant being packed and seemingly short staffed. Check it out for views if you’re looking for a spot to stop with your dog!“

“So amazing! What a wonderful surprise while we were
Touring Mackinac Island in the horse carriages. We stopped & got off at Fort Mackinac to explore & soak in more history. We were getting hungry & decided to see if this a snack bar. Tremendous surprise! We found a Tea Room run by the Grand Hotel! What!!! Everything we ordered was perfect & delicious! We all loved our lunches. The mountain top view was fantastic! God has blessed us with such magnificent views here on earth. The service was terrific!! Such a sweet surprise!! Be sure & enjoy the hot Cherry 🍒 Cobbler with ice cream when you venture up there! Just wonderful!!“
