“My Husband and I accidentally came across this gem of a Burger 🍔 place. So happy we did!!! I’ve always said if you don’t need two napkins for your burger, it’s not worth it… I needed four! My brioche bun was toasted perfectly and the seasoning and juiciness of the burger was perfection. And you MUST not forget the seasoned fries - out of this world!!! Frank, you are incredible!!! I’m writing this review because I just got off the phone with Masha, who was absolutely amazing while helping me confirm my reservation for my daughter’s graduation. I needed to adjust it form party of 3 to party of 4, and as you can imagine, everything is fully booked everywhere. However, she took the time to reconfigure and rearrange and made it happen. “A few years ago I searched on Google for "highest rated restaurant near me" and Everest ranked #1. I've eaten there for my birthday celebration meal, and at other times, in the five or six years since. It's rare to find great food, great service, and at a great price in the post-Covid era. In my experience Everest is the best of these combined categories in the Ann Arbor to Dearborn corridor along I-94. No where else that I've eaten since moving back to the area in 2011 comes close.“

“If you like lots of beans, this is the place for you! My wife and I went there recently for dinner, I had Beef Nachos and my wife had a quesadilla. I swear they were both 75% beans! The other ingredients were fresh and tasty, there was very little meat. The service was decent but we won’t be going back.“

“Lan City is a simple place with great food. The interior isn’t anything particularly special, but it isn’t bad and gets the job done. The menu is dense with lots of good options, especially their noodle specialties. I was served quickly, and I got the laksa noodles with a side of the scallion pancake. I didn’t realize how big the portions are. Everything was large, and I had to take the pancakes home. The laksa was rich with lots of seafood, and the noodles were delicious and toothsome. Like the name of the place suggests, the noodles are really the star of the show. I’d definitely recommend eating here if you enjoy Asian noodle dishes, and I hope to visit again.“

“My wife and I stopped in for dinner on Ash Wednesday for a vegetarian meal. She ordered a dosa and I ordered mattar paneer with naan and rice. The dosa was huge! We really enjoyed the food, it was good. The lady serving us was very friendly and nice, I believe her name is Pricilla. We will go back again and try some non vegetarian food.

“We went here for our anniversary and were very pleased! The space has great natural lighting and feels bright and airy, but also comfy and inviting. They told us a 20 minute wait for a table or we could sit at the bar, so we chose the bar and I'm glad we did, bc the service was quick and very good! I had inquired about another woman's lavender cocktail and it was one of their sangrias and he let me have a little sample(wasn't bad, but not my jam for a whole drink). We had several other really delish cocktails tho! We started the food with the olive sampler, some gazpacho and potatas bravadas topped with an egg(add the egg for $3, trust me!)! All came at the right time and really good! We actually ordered our paella first bc it said it could be up to 45 minutes, and it came when we were finishing our tapas, so perfect timing! We got the shrimp and blue crab one and it was really good! And it just so happens that Sunday is 25% off all paellas, so extra bonus! I would definitely recommend this place.“

“I work in downtown Ann Arbor, and have been coming to Le Dog/La Soup for years. I have enjoyed every dog and every soup I have gotten from them. Their primary offering is a great rotating selection of unique soups (several vegetarian/vegan options), but they also have standard hot dogs + turkey franks + polish sausage with some topping options. Pricing is reasonable - the soups are well worth the cost. There is no dedicated seating, but they do have a small bar/counter where you can stand and eat. If you are in Ann Arbor and looking for a quick and easy lunch, I highly recommend Le Dog. They are great year-round, but especially during the cold winter months!“

“As someone who’s Hispanic and grew up in California, I’ve had a lot of authentic Mexican food over the years. After living in Ohio for the past five years, it’s been hard to find something that truly compares — until I tried Miny’s in Michigan.

The quality for the price is unbeatable. The flavors are bold, authentic, and clearly made with care. The textures are spot on, from the tortillas to the fillings, and everything tastes fresh.

The carne asada tacos are more than worth the price, and the guacamole is fresh — easily better than Chipotle. These are hands down the best tacos I’ve had since living in the Midwest, and they genuinely reminded me of the spots back home in California.

If you care about real Mexican food and not just “Mexican-inspired,” this place is absolutely worth the trip. I’ll definitely be back.

“Was there on a Tuesday6:30 Sept 6. FIRST TIME. Best falafel ever had. Ordered no hummus Vegetables instead. Nice amount of tomato onion and lettus. Went again 6:30 tuesday on sept.13. Like a bad dream ordered 2 falafel Got 80% lettus and cucumber. One veggie fried ball broken into 3 pieces. Pocket bread was cold. Was charged $20 for the 2. Like bad joke. They closed at 7pm. So there I was eating them in the parking lot. I'd come from Jackson just for that meal....! LIKE A BAD DREAM !“

Walking in the smells make all your senses stimulated, knowing you made the right decision. I worked at a place where my boss made the most famous reuben in our town, so I had to see what your reuben was all about. We shared the large with the 2 types of pickles and a latke. They are ALWAYS friendly, ALWAYS accommodate if I want to try something unusual (although I usually order the chicken Schwarma extra sauce....can't go wrong!!) and once a couple years back I had paid for my food and got called out for an emergency & someone came running out to the parking lot and vaulted my Schwarma through my ambulance window. “A friend recommended this restaurant to me and it sounded like a fun time, after a week we went there. The inside is clean, modern and simple. You have to wait to be seated, once we sat down we were given water right away which is a wonderful way to show good service early. I ordered the spicy pork, fried rice with chicken and hot sake. Before we got our meal, we were given all different types of sauces and appetizers. Like coleslaw, broiled and seasoned broccoli, some kind of spicy fish which I really enjoyed and a very spicy sauce that looked brownish and another sauce that was bright red & black and was also a bit spicy. After making conversation and enjoying the appetizers, 10 to 15 minutes, the spicy pork was brought out on this grilling plate, sizzling and looked very appetizing and tasty. For me and my friend this was the first experience we at Seoul Garden and I was blown away, I love the service more then anything and all of the service staff deserve raises. - Jacob Anderson, thanks for the wonderful meal SG!
