“I want to say thank you to Drew. I was standing in line for 15mins me and another gentleman a lot of the workers would look at us and not say a thing even tho we tried to get there attention Drew noticed and came right over started to help both of us out. I was going to leave a bad review but thankfully someone that cared about the customer was working today. I know it was busy even a simple one moment would of been enough.“

“About the only thing I ever order is the cold brew with heavy whipping cream, and they prepare it exactly as I like. They are also the only coffee shop in town that has keto friendly food on the menu.“

“Went in to fill the need for a blueberry muffin. Looked at the drink menu and told the barista I couldn’t decide between 3 of the drinks so I chose one. Paid for said drink and muffin. As I was sitting there waiting noticed the “specials” sign. Today was BOGO.. 🥴 I know it’s my fault for not noticing the sign, but would have been nice had she mentioned that it was a special for today if I was interested in trying another drink, I would have indulged a bit more. I’ll still be back but maybe just a sales tip 😁“

“Lived in Midland from ‘96-‘07. Was here a couple times a week at least, picked up to go drinks 3-4x a week. In town today, came for my favorite drink, great service and friendly conversation with the owner Brett. This is still one of my favorite cups of coffee ever. (I’m an Americano guy.) So glad Espresso Milano is still here, to me it’s a quintessential independent coffee shop.“

“So these guys are the new Grove eh... While I do still miss Grove, I am not disappointed in Live Oak. We tried something new today and enjoyed it. Price was a little high I thought, but very nice quality, so you definitely get what you pay for here. Will be an occasional treat place for sure. Also how the hecc did you make a gluten free brownie that didn't taste terrible?! I demand to know your secrets!!“

“I spent the first 27 years of my life in places where I could get authentic pho, and I got it often. I have been absolutely craving pho lately, and Emily Mai's Pho absolutely hits the spot. She knows exactly what she is doing. I had Pho #3, which is a combo beef pho. So so so delicious!“

“Great little spot to grab a (free!!) coffee and hang out. Super nice staff, and there are tons of tables and couches and a fireplace. They have a donation box, but there was no pressure to leave anything. It would be nice if they had some bistro sets outside. The back area is super cute and would be a perfect spot to enjoy some coffee on a nice day! Having some tables out front would help advertise it as a coffee spot better—I didn't know it was there until a friend mentioned it. I'm surprised it doesn't get more business since they offer FREE COFFEE!! No strings attached!! ☕“
