“We had a great time at this place tonight. Wednesday is AYCE pasta bar with a wide variety of pasta dishes, among other things. My husband loved the scalloped potatoes and lasagna and I fell in love with their strawberry cheesecake. I had the country fried steak, my choice of potato (baked) and side (salad - which was delicious - the added touches of fresh spinach, mushrooms, colorful bell pepper and more gave great eye appeal as well as a very healthy dish). Rachel, our server, was excellent. Stayed on top of all our needs, has a great sense of humor (give her a raise and a pat on the back, dad ?). We loved that the owner came to our table, welcomed us and made sure everything was ok for us. Nice touch! Thursday is an ayce buffet with things like meatloaf, BBQ ribs and more. We were pleasantly surprised at the prices - less than we expected for the amount and quality of food. We also love that this restaurant donates the extra food to our community food boxes (instead of just throwing it away). Great people. Great food. “Stopped by on 1/22/2024 for a quick meal after a swim meet in Manistee.Unfortunately they were short staffed (literally 3 workers). The gentlemen who was working the counter, drive through and delivering food was very nice. He never once showed how overwhelmed he was even when I ordered a chocolate shake.You sir, deserve a raise for your hard work, pleasant arritude and dedication! Job well done!“

“I was waiting in line today and 3 seniors walked up after me. After waiting 10-15 minutes for the previous customers, one of the seniors that walked up behind me said that they were here before me. Instead of arguing, I left without ordering. It would have been nice if this DQ had better queue lines so that obnoxious customers like the ones I encountered are unable to treat others in this manner.“
