“We've been to this area for years and finally stopped at Daisy Mae's a couple months ago. Now it's one of our go to's. We brought our kids and grandkids there this week. Great food, friendly staff and atmosphere is nice.“

“I hadn't been to the new restaurant since new ownership, and I was mildly surprised. Being a Friday and all you can eat fish, you expect there to be a crowd, yet this crowd was even larger than I expected. Yes, the wait was a little long, but the servers and kitchen were hustling things out. And when the food arrived, it was good. I'm excited to come back. And check out the names of the children's menu, it'll crack you up.“

“10+ years ago, I was coming back from a trip with some friends and we tried to stop here for food but it was too close to closing time for me to push the staff. Instead we drove further into GR and forgot all about it until this weekend, where I found myself sorta lost on those roads less traveled, and found the Clifford Lake Inn. Coming in from the cold, the place welcomes with a warm cozy little bar and live music that was enjoyable. The atmosphere was easygoing and the place a true classic that earned its patina. Bartender was friendly to this stranger and recommended the fish & chips which was delicious. I love finding places like this. Recommended!!!“

“Had the special SMOKE RIBS, $20. Not always available. They use a special season and it smells like cow manure. The hostess talks to the regulars pointing at you and laughing. The co workers are all laughing too. Fun place loves to prank you at your cost. After going to ER and recovering for two weeks, you guarantee to get your money worth and be the joke of the town. Losing a lot of weight and faith in fellow human beings.“
