“Ehhhhhhmazing food, friendly staff but absolute ripp off on drinks. Was charged 20 bucks per drink and wasn't told in advance it's an expensive drink, and it wasn't on the menu. Of course, will go back for the food but that was not cool.
Since the owner said they don't have 20 dollars drink, I added the receipt. It says full bottle but the drinks, one glass each, is apparent in the picture - there was no bottle.“

“My granddaughter wanted this particular restaurant food for her birthday meal. The food was well worth the wait! She is here from Atlanta, is a very good cook and really enjoyed the authenticity of the food. Will definitely patronize again. The cook was very friendly and welcoming also!“

“I ate at Chef Topey’s Kitchen with my children when we made a visit to Detroit. Chet is such a kind man. The food was DELICIOUS!!! From my baby to my six-year-old to my teenagers, to my young adults everyone was beyond satisfied. The food was so good. I tried to make it back before I left but wasn’t able to. I can’t believe some of the negative reviews. I guess nothing is perfect all the time but I would DEFINITELY go!!! See for yourself!!! Oh! And one of my kids is Jamaican and cooks for his family’s restaurant where in Nashville and he loved it too. Go!“

“We decided to have our ladies night at taste of Ethiopia as none of our party had tasted Ethiopian food before. We order different levels of spicy lamb, beef and chicken. The level of spice was great.The food was seasoned really good.The vegetables were good as well and I don't even regularly like cabbage.I tried the cabbage and carrots. I enjoy the entire experience no complaints.“
